I wish it was mandatory for Series S/X games to have smart delivery. I started up Control via Gamepass on my series X . I can’t run the game with enhanced visuals and performance due to 505 games not supporting smart delivery and pay walling performance.
I would say the Doom Slayer is stronger than Master Chief. However, the Slayer’s powers are tied to argent energy. Without argent energy the slayer is de-powered.

The true development cycle for Cyberpunk 2077 was short compared to RDR 2. Rockstar already had background NPC and police AI from GTA V to use in RDR2. And as you mentioned RDR 2 had far more people working on it than Cyberpunk 2077. CD Projekt Red’s rushing of Cyperpunk 2077 will cost them in future.

Xbox consoles are more compatible with their predecessors due to Microsoft consoles having PC-like architectures. Sony, would likely offer more compatibility with previous console generations if they could. Lastly, Nintendo would rather sell overpriced ports of old games.

There is probably low user engagement on the older systems. I don’t think too many people are buying digital content for their PS3, PSP or Vita.
I wonder if Ninja Gaiden Black and Ninja Gaiden 2 will be series X enhanced with improved frame rates. Some of the enhanced older games to me at least look like remasters (e.g. Gears 3 on One X/ series X/S).
Why couldn’t Team Ninja just rip the data off on a digital copy or a disc ?
In my opinion no, even after its 10 year anniversary. I think the Last of Us has aged fine. It still looks good and plays well.
