The Switch is drawing sales from the handheld market. It doesn’t have a major handheld competitor. It was wise of Nintendo to merge their handheld and home console. Nintendo handhelds typically outperform their home consoles.
“Whales”, the people who buy MTs heavily maybe attracted to Gamepass. To “Whales” Gamepass it’s just another thing to spend money on related to gaming.

I enjoyed my play thorough of the game on Series X. But I did encounter bugs. None of the bugs and glitches I encountered where game breaking. However, I hate many immersion breaking bugs and one glitch that forced me to restart a quest.
Bethesda RPGs don’t age like fine wine. They often felt clunky and were generally visually dated upon release. Bethesda has been outlasted in terms of production quality for years now.
The lack of Switch physical probably has to due with the storage capacity and general cost of cartridges.

It’s not as big as Smash, Mario, Pokémon or Zelda.
Nintendo also uses Smash Bros as platform to market its less popular franchises. Hence the disproportionate number of Fire Emblem characters.

Nintendo is the greediest console manufacturer. Microsoft and Sony would not get away with avoiding game price drops and charging $60 for ports with minimal [or no true] visual enhancements. No Nintendo is pulling a “Disney vault” strategy on games that can be sold digitally.
