I believe you can’t at the moment. OG Xbox one games as of yet do not have online MP too the best of my understanding. I see MS owned OG Xbox games getting mp if the games in question get good engagement and digital sales.
It seems Ubisoft has decided to make an ambitious games that greatly expands on the original Beyond Good and Evil’s design. However, I fear Beyond Good and Evil 2 is not really the sequel fans wanted. Fams wanted a continuation of Jade’s story, yet the newest game is prequel.... Ubisoft seems to obsessed with making large open world games.
Aside: Could the woman in the trailer be Jade’s mother ?
OMGitzThatGuy exactly I imagine 10s of millions was spent funding Scalebounds without the game making valuable progress due to platinum working on too many project at once. Platinum got money out of the project while MS and the Xbox userbase got nothing.
Maybe you should also consider that platinum kept working on and finishing other games while developing Scalebound. Platinum was given extensions yet kept missing deadlines, all the while finishing games for other publishers.
I think the Easter eggs in GoW 4 might imply the series could become an anthology series Kratos’ adventure is over.
MS would actually lose money by paying to have big budget AAA games launch on gamepass. MS as a platform holder makes much of their profits from licensing fees.
fewDankMemes is pointing out that the game is blatantly overpriced for how old it is and for the amount of new content and visual enhancements added to the port.
Battle royale is nothing but a mode. Fans of Halo could as of now likely make a battle royale mode for Halo 5 using forge. I personally don’t care for Battle royale, it’s just a new trend.
It’s almost like the author is stating that games like Gears of War, Ratchet & Clank and Sonic need reboots set in Norse mythology with the same game mechanics as GoW 4. The article’s title is click bait.
My guess is MCC will be released on PC this year.
I am probably over 10hrs into GoW 4. Personally, I find the newest God of War to be significantly less violent and gory than the previous PS3 entries.
The story should not just move away from Gears 4 plot, there are plot points that need to be resolved. Anya’s death is something that could be resolved in Gears 5. The series doesn’t need a reboot. But I do agree that more horror elements could be added back into the series.
Gears is an MS IP you can buy future gears titles on pc.
No not really. I think Gears of War 4 mechanically improved from Gears of War 3. Gears of War 5 can improve by adding back offline horde, characters earned through progression and achievements. Maybe Gears of War 5 could also incorporate more horror elements like the first Gears of War (which was influenced by Resident Evil 4).
I wouldn’t congratulate Rare for Sea of Thieves, the studio objectively has made much better even during the controversial MS-Era. If anything, Rare is lucky Sea of Thieves did will despite its objective mediocrity. Also sources point to the rumoured Perfect Dark being co-developed by The Coalition and another developer but not Rare.
1. Lack of 1st party investment
2. Lack of Studio Creative Freedom
3. Ignoring Fan demands.
The rumours that games such as Shadow of the Tomb Raider and Borderlands 3 will launch on gamepass are just ridiculous. Unless MS has a 2018 fall- holiday lineup as weak as last year’s, I don’t see the company making any AAA exclusivity deals.
I would personally rank the Timesplitters franchise as my 4 th favourite sci-fi FPS series. Timesplitters 2 and Future Perfect were truly content rich FPS games. Few I find any current Gen shooters offer a level of content comparable to Timesplitters 2 and Future Perfect.
Crytek should re-evaluate their opinions of the Timesplitters franchise. There is games want more for Timesplitters, the demand for the series may not be huge but it’s still there. A remastered Timesplitters trilogy for PC and consoles would be a low risk investment, unless Crytek is still heavily struggling financially.
Yes MS does own Quantum Break, Quantum Break 2 would be a Xbox/windows title.
