Agreed
Playground Games is the studio Microsoft should most logically purchase. Playground is a proven developer, I am very interested to see how the studios non-racing project (likely Fable). However,we don’t know if Playground wants to be bought. I would rather Microsoft enlarge the Coalition, 343i and Turn 10, and give creative freedom to the 3 studios.
Additionally, looking at how Sea of Thieves is being received. Rare need some new management or restructuring. It is unaccept...
Dark Souls was not an impressive looking game to begin with. The Switch version of Dark Souls doesn’t look much better than the 360/PS3 version, aside from have having a higher resolution.
Box art looks nice. However, I’m surprised Geralt, guest character is on the front cover. Are there any other guest characters?
Microsoft admitted that licensing issues make adding sports games, racing games and other licensed properties to BC problematic.
Battle Royale is just free-for-all with no respawns on a big map with randomly placed items. Not every game needs or should have a battle royale mode.
Yah, pretty much
The show felt like a giant Sea of Thieves Advertisement, I am personally not too interested in the game.... Also the titles that were revealed at the Inside Xbox event don't interested me either as I am not seeing a greater push for 1st party AAA titles from Xbox.
Basically nothing but Sea of Thieves info....disappointing show. There will be another inside Xbox in April, which I assume will focus on State of Decay 2.
I think MS is outsourcing IP contracts to third party devs. Halo Wars 2 was largely developed by Creative Assembly a Sega owned company.
The box art was never stamped as “only on PlayStation”. The timed exclusivity of Crash insane trilogy was obvious from the game launching.
It was obvious the Insane Trilogy was going to go multiplatform. Crash has been multiplatform for most of its lifespan. Also I think should pick the insane trilogy up once school is done. I’m getting the itch to play a platformer.
Nintendo releases are always full priced even their old ports!
I think its time for more Timesplitters! The series was set in different eras that varied from level-to-level and map-to-map and even from character-to-character lol.
Destiny 2 taking inspiration from The Division? The Division lost players fast like Destiny 2 and hasn't really made much of comeback either. Destiny 2 is still I a popular game, the franchise just dropped of much faster than expected due to disappointing installments, BS DLC and other shady practices by Bungie.
Realistic water is often paired with cartoony visuals. Pixar films have realistic water despite being heavily stylized.
There is nothing wrong with stylized graphics. Last Gen there was a period were devs seemed obsessed with making games brown and grey. I would much rather games have differing artysles from each other.
Hasn't this series always been lower priced?
Some people were reporting assets from non-source games were ported into Hunt Down the Freeman.
Apparently there is an enormous amount of concept art for Sea of Thieves that never made it into the game. Sounds like Sea of Thieves had a lesiure full and inefficient dev cycle.
