I think 2019 is too early for PS5.
I was given 2 sets of codes for Gears of War (1-3 & judgement) due buying Gears UE and 4. Oddly Microsoft then gifted me a third set. I kept one set of gears codes for myself and gave the other 2 away. One of my friends got pretty into horde after playing through Gears 1-3 and Judgement because of the codes I gave him, he also went out and bought Gears of War 4.
To me it looks like Boss Key might be working on an arcadey oldschool side-scrolling shooter.
That a bit of damage control lol. Gears of War 4 and Halo 5 are well optimized games also and both games had way more content at launch than Sea of Thieves. How does amount of content directly relate to optimization? Gears of War 4, Halo 5, and lots of other games have more than one enemy type (not just skeletons) and run fine. Sea of Thieves content issues aren't due to hardware or optimization. Sea of Thieves issues are due to fact that Rare spent 3 years inefficiently developing their ...
The article’s title makes it sound like the Switch has better graphics than the PS4. Wolfenstein New Colossus on Switch runs at 30 FPS, it will certainly also visual sacrifices and performance sacrifices. The Switch version of New Colossus will probably have the same visual downgrades as Doom’s Switch port.
I never touched the MP of Ascension, I got the game a year after it released. My opinion of the GoW series is based solely on single player experiences.
Best to least favourite in my opinion
1. God of War 2
2. God of War: Ghost of Sparta
3. God of War 3
4. God of War: Chains of Olympus
5. God of War
6. God of War: Ascension
Dark Souls has always done quite well on Xbox, its also not a typical JRPG.
improving*
Disagree. MS should focus on improve their first party output.
Terrible framerates for Red Dead Redemption. The 360 version of RDR would make more sense to emulate than the PS3 version.
The PC version’s quality depends on how good your PC is. Steam has proven that most PC gamers don’t have that great of hardware anyways.
The first time I played Conker’s Bad Fur was via Live and Reloaded on the OG Xbox. I didn’t play the original Bad Fur Day until I got Rare Replay. I prefer Live and Reloaded because of mechanics. The visuals of both versions of CBF have aged shockingly well. I personally prefer Live and Reloaded, but this maybe due to me playing it first.
I'm glad to see that Sea of Thieves is having some success, especially for Rare's sake. While I am not interested in Sea of Thieves (its not my type of game) I do hope the game improves for those that like it.
You are likely right. I forgot that State of Decay 2 is releasing on May 22nd. I guess late June to August is more reasonable.
Yah I don’t think Crackdown 3 could survive the fall to holiday rush of AAA games. I strongly assume their is a new Forza this year. Even though I personally don’t like that Forza is releases annually, but whatever. Ori and the Will of the Wisp has no concrete release date.
I hope Forza isn’t Microsoft’s only fall AAA game. There are strong indications that their will be no Halo 6 or Gears 5 this year. I hope the rumoured Perfect Dark releases this fall as Xbox has no 1st ...
I assume Crackdown 3 will release between May and August.
I wouldn't say Phil defended Sea of Thieves, he never commented on the quality of the game. His answers were typical PR responses expected from an executive.
I don’t see how 200 staff could be invested into such a barren game. I think Phil Spencer maybe a bit too soft of an executive. If Rare’s own staff were complaining about the content of Sea of Thieves. Phil should have stepped in on the project and made Rare’s lead staff expand the game.
If Sea of Thieves fails, Rare could very well be on chopping block, which would be PR disaster for Microsoft. Something has to be done about Rare’s management, maybe it’s time for new st...
Looks like Boss Key and CliffyB will have another dead game on their hands.
