I'm just kind of baffled that Nintendo doesn't compromise quality with it's software but with regard to hardware it's nothing but compromises.
However long it takes for them to release their big games is fine with me; I'll buy the system when there is a large enough library that I'm interested in, just like I did with the Wii. Plenty of other games on my current system to tide me over.
Ha! Same here!
definitely not the one in the picture.
Honestly and no bs here the PS4 looks absurdly sexy to me... as sexy as inanimate electronic devices can be anyhow.
As much as it pains me to say, Nintendo really took a misstep with the Wii U. It was priced too high for a console that just barely beat out the current gen systems.. they were really banking on the tablet controls being a justification for a weaker next-gen system just as motion controls did for last gen.
Nintendo CAN and WILL survive on the ridiculous strength of its first party games. But I'd like to see them return to their former glory. I can't see how that co...
All the press I've read seems to preference the DS4, even from people who preferred the 360 controller and/or didn't like the DS3.
yup, had it over a year now, excellent service. I think 99% of people who end up getting it will find it's absolutely worth it and won't feel bitter about it.
Sony said themselves the satisfaction rate for the service is already 95%, I can only imagine it will get better especially with more people participating.
the Wii U isn't a bonafide flop yet, it's not even been a year on the market and we don't even any of the hard hitting Nintendo IPs yet. Once the library is established a little better and it gets a price cut it will probably do quite well. The 3DS went through the same thing and it's one of the best selling systems now.
xbox fans clinging to exclusives all of a sudden that's a riot given how much they shortchange the enormous PS3 exclusive advantage
edit: not to mention SCE worldwide studios confirmed 30 exclusives in development, with 20 out by holiday 2014. Obviously there is no reason to blow their wad and show us all of them when they won e3 and the hardcore crowd without doing so. they will show us more when they are good and ready, anyone who's ever had a playstation knows i...
Lol is all.
Why should we expect greatness may I ask? They have never done a new IP. They have done 3 PSP games (2 GoW and Daxter) and the Wii Okami port.
Granted what they have done is far from crap, in fact the 2 GoW PSP games are great and the Okami port is as well.
But I don't get why this game is guaranteed "greatness" based on their body of work. Don't get me wrong, I have high hopes for it, not trolling, just don't know where this ready at...
PSU trolling with their non perfect score smh
/S
They are absolutely excellent, for sure.
“I fundamentally believe that the initial market that we need to make sure we appeal to with any new platform … is really the gaming audience,” Hirai said. “They will be the supporters of your platform and they will help propel the installed base.”
AMEN
The industry will not crash. I don't understand how people think this can happen.
Just because a certain console fails, or certain game fails to draw an audience and make a profit does not spell out disaster for an almost 70 billion dollar industry.
There is a ridiculous demand out there for new content and that isn't going to go away; what we may see is a shift of development resources as the biggest publishers out there realize big budget games tha...
I see what he's getting at here, and I think tablets will be pretty remarkable compared to next gen consoles before we know it; maybe another 5 years who knows.
But they will never measure up to what a PC can do from a technical standpoint; you just can't cram all the highest end PC tech into something that small with a screen and a battery.
For the mass market end user there might not be much of a noticeable difference but for PC enthusiasts the diff...
Magicka is a tablet only game...
this list is kinda meh.
Punch Quest
Osmos HD
World of Goo
Super Hexagon
Plasma Sky
those are some of my go-to games
Coming from a huge PS3 and Sony fan, Nintendo still dominates handhelds and although things were a bit bleak for the 3DS initially it's started to hit its stride and judging by how phenomenal the DS library became I'd put my money on the 3DS being the decisive winner this time around, gameswise.
The Vita is still a mighty impressive piece of hardware and I hope things turn around for it in a positive way.
keyword in that sentence "thinks"
some people aren't as good at "thinking" as others
Isn't every game console designed for that
Nintendo has never been known to rush out a game. The game will be incredibly polished as all Nintendo games are.
