touch screen controls are only horrible when the game has no business being a touch-only game.
For some games, touch control works flawlessly and better than even a traditional gamepad. It all depends on the game.
Think before you make blanket generalizations that carry no weight in reality.
Feel like these people hating mobile games don't realize there are some pretty great ones out there. I play games on my 3DS and on my Galaxy Note 3. They both offer different experiences and often times I can play games on my phone when it wouldn't be appropriate to play a game on a 3DS (for example; a few minutes of downtime at work)
Honestly I could care less what platform a game is on as long as it is fun to play.
Honestly to even consider a game underrated it ought to have a meta average under 80%. Under-appreciated, under-sold, whatever: different conversation.
Dead Space 3 is definitely one which jumps to mind, 75 meta, and the game, though not as satisfying as the first 2, was excellent nevertheless.
Only 2 million xbox owners bored to tears with their current console and $500 burning a hole in their pocket.
I suspect PS3 owners aren't as desperate to switch to a new console. Sony will win this thing in the long run.
Mine in no particular order
Bioshock Infinite
GTA V
The Last of Us
Fire Emblem Awakening
Super Mario 3D World
Good list though, Ni No Kuni and Rayman Legends are fantastic.
I've had the Jak and Daxter trilogy unopened on my shelf for sooo long now. Backlogs are such a chore..
anyway my favorite games, I pretty much can sum them up as the games I've invested the most time in.
Diablo 2, and Super Smash Bros Melee. Two games that I played for years and years, never really became bored of, and became a veritable God in.
I had to quit D2 multiple times, because I grew uncomfortable with the addiction to it, an...
I have a feeling Amazon will have the Vita at $150 at some point over the holidays.
I applaud and envy PC owners who enjoy PC gaming as a hobby, tinkering and upgrading their systems, changing all the settings to games, optimizing, downloading MODs, using cool peripherals.
Personally I don't really have the time/desire to bother with all that, also I have no room in my apt to even put a desktop computer in the first place. I play some games on my gaming laptop, even though I could play games like Crysis on it (not at max settings mind you) generally I o...
Fire Emblem Awakening, Pokemon X/Y, Luigi's Mansion, Zelda, SMT 4, Donkey Kong, two Etrian Odyssey games, Mario & Luigi, Monster Hunter 3 Ultimate, Rune Factory 4...
Yes, it's been a great year.
Why a review for this now, with Fiesta Run out?
It's $50 for 5gb. There is no unlimited plan with AT&T.
Xenoblade Chronicles, XCOM EU, Dark Souls, Dishonored, Dead Space, Borderlands 2, Skyrim, Fallout 3, Rock Band, Rayman Origins, Infamous 2, Journey, Braid
hmm... 3DS XL for 149 at Target.. or 2DS for 99 at Walmart...
It's an okay game.. appropriate use of IAP, good controls (for a touchscreen sidescrolling action game), good use of humor in the story.
It gets repetitive, though, and the jumping is a little too floaty and the combat a little sloppy. Definitely no 10/10 in my book but it's still worth a play.
Ahhh can't wait for this game.. hope it's as good on 3DS as it is on Wii U
I have a feeling it will be closer to SMG 1&2 scores.. 9.7 territory.
Plenty of people said the 3DS was doomed. Basically the whole first year of the system. And especially after the Vita was announced.
The Wii U just needs a price drop and a few more AAA Nintendo titles. There are millions of Nintendo fans out there waiting for the next Zelda, Smash Bros, Metroid, or what have you.. all of those games have the ability to move systems.
we be trollin, we hatin
edit: yeah, appears its getting lots of low marks. shame.
I'm hoping Sony, Nintendo, and Valve all have great success with their next gaming systems.
Did I miss anyone?
KonsoruMasuta, you're out of your element, get over it.
