Assassins Creed 2
Assassins Creed 3
Mass Effect 2
Mass Effect 3
any Call of Duty after Modern Warfare
Not speaking for anyone else here but after Zelda, a 3D Super Mario, Metroid, Pikmin 3, and Smash Bros drop I will most likely buy a Wii U.
Also hopefully at some point they can return Star Fox to its former glory, have a new F-Zero (long overdue), a Paper Mario reminiscent of TTYD, and a sequel to Kid Icarus Uprising.
I'd rather have action but either way I'm looking forward to checking it out
It's a great game but a bit grindy. Definitely benefits from being played on larger displays also. Small screens are difficult to be as accurate with selecting the intended targets.
It wouldn't be LttP without the dark world
How about old games from now defunct developers/publishers?
Same types of games =/= same types of characters
there will be games with mario, zelda, donkey kong, kirby, samus, ect games as long as Nintendo exists
which reminds me
what is happening with the last guardian
I thought the same thing at first, then thought well you never know with Irrational.. they could surprise me like they usually do.
I did say the PS3 will be around a little longer. That doesn't mean the PS4 isn't a successor just because both systems will be on the market simultaneously. For example the iPhone 5 and iPhone 4 are both on the market, but no one in their right mind would say the 5 isn't a successor of the 4. Sure they can co-exist. But imo this whole "part of the family, not a successor" line is just weak and misplaced corporate PR jibber jabber in an effort to keep the PS3 relevan...
Just as a prince is an addition to the family. But he is still the successor, eventually the king will die or abdicate ;)
Remember when Nintendo said that about the DS? That it was a "third pillar"?
Remember what happened to the GBA shortly thereafter?
IMO its absurd to not consider the PS4 a successor. Sure the PS3 will be around a little while longer but ultimately it will fade away while the PS4 lives on.. hence successor.
MegaMan ZX and ZX Advent for DS are both Metroidvania style. ZX Advent being the better of the two.
Was surprised not to see these and Outland on the list.
good point, best in awhile at least
"deal with it" is what MS will have to do when they wind up selling far less than they will forecast.
Speaking as someone who supports the advent of an all-digital age, I still am heavily against an "always on" policy. I really don't see the point of that. There are plenty of features which are perfectly useful without a data connection.
Well I sell smartphones for a living and its ridiculous the stuff apple fans convince themselves of in choosing a 2 year old iPhone 4 with just 8GB of memory over a great much newer and mid-range 4G LTE android for the same price (free)
Also when I hear people talking about getting a macbook and what they plan to do on it (email/web/word processing 99% of the time that's it) why the hell are you spending a $500-1000 premium for something a netbook could do? Simple; marke...
Jealous of overpriced, sterile, and passé products most popular with tweens and geriatrics? No, I should think not, sir.
We are all fanboys of something out there. Not necessarily just games/consoles. Brand loyalty is something every company fights tooth and nail for, and many people give them that.
The worst fanboys, imo, are Apple fanboys.
Cheaper? Probably the wrong word to use.
And I doubt its because they are worried about a small install base; if anything Sony has made great strides with gamers in the last couple years compared to the first couple after the launch of the PS3. They probably have the biggest install base as far as early adopters of new systems.
The main reason they are probably focusing on less expensive tech is because they don't want to make the same mistake as last ti...
Some other good ones: Battleheart, Osmos HD, World of Goo, 9th Dawn, Zen Pinball, Anomaly: Warzone Earth, Super Stickman Golf, auralux, 10000000, Punch Quest, Plasma Sky, Knights of Pen and Paper, Gunslugs, Dungeon Raid, Rayman Jungle Run, Waking Mars, Universe Pandemic (or Plague Inc)
Not a big fan of many of the games on this list, they are mostly dumbed down console style games.
