well said.
Definitely happy with my Wii U purchase a few months ago. The back catalog at this point is nothing short of impressive, even if it's 95% Nintendo games.
I'm still waiting for a "must-own" game for PS4 to make me want to plunk down $400 for it. A new Fallout or Elder Scrolls might do the trick.
I just bought a tab pro 8.4 and love it. Bestbuy had cyber monday deal for $199.. quite a steal. still awesome at its current $229 price. say what you want about touchwiz, samsung makes quality hardware, especially its displays.

The author of this article sounds like an entitled gamer too used to feeling like games should automatically be discounted a month after release. A lot of the industry has to do this because the sales drop of very significantly after the first month or two. Nintendo games sell well throughout their system's lifetime so they don't need to resort to price drops to sell more copies after launch. Nintendo is fortunate in this regard. Late adopters of their systems will buy a lot of th...
So 2 games with toys and Nintendo dips in with their iconic franchises and now it's oversaturated?
And there is nothing to be embarrassed about being an adult with a few figures. As long as you don't have a whole room full of them ;)
ZSS and Diddy are top 5 imo. I'd agree with Sheik and Yoshi, Greninja is borderline with Lucario. Rosalina is still a top character even after nerfs but probably no longer top 5. Bowser and Duck Hunt are very high but not top 5.
awesome. did they actually ship?
yep, seriously. anyone with half a brain would have suspected it was a price glitch. walmart was price-matching the search results for the systems which was glitched. when you actually clicked on the item itself, the regular price was displayed.
sweeeeeeeet love these games
Yep, taken out of context entirely
DEM HITS
Nintendo can most certainly rely on Mario, Zelda, and Pokemon forever. They will always be the bread and butter franchises no matter how many new IPs they create.
They can't rely on them alone of course, but they can rely on them being their most important franchises. But hey, they never have relied on them alone and to claim so is pure hyperbole.
But I do agree more IPs are a good thing and Xenoblade is an excellent game that could turn into a monster ...
Well I put tons of stock in meta reviews, personally, but I'm no fanboy and by no means will I avoid a game simply because it averages in the 70s. But I may be a lot more inclined to pick something up that is in the high 80s and 90s that I hadn't maybe planned to previously. And it goes the other way too, I won't just automatically get any game that is rated highly.
The thing is many people, myself included, aren't going to plunk down $50-60 on a new game wi...
+1
It's common knowledge among audiophiles that beats sells on its brand alone, not its audio quality. overpriced junk if you ask me. there are $100 headsets that sound better than beats. of course if all you want is bass then maybe you wouldn't know the difference.
what the f* is a dvd son
It will still sell because a lot of the public is uneducated about this kind of stuff. And when there are price drops to clear old inventory, it will still sell.
While I agree that anyone planning to buy a 3DS for smash bros won't be buying one until it releases, that was most likely the case before a new model was announced so nothing has changed in that regard. On the other hand, I'm sure a large percentage of smash fans have already bought a 3DS for other games an...
Gameboy Color did.
I guess I haven't jumped on the hype train yet, in fact I haven't even shown up at the station. I'll probably wait for it to release before I give it a second thought.
I'm looking forward to Smash Bros and Shadow of Mordor more than anything else due out this year, personally.
if it was a mistake they wouldn't have made the gameboy color, gameboy advance, gameboy micro, DS Lite, DSi, DS XL, 3DS XL... all contributed the success of their respective platform.
It's a successful business model and Sony and MS also do it.. nothing out of the ordinary.
Joe here is upset with the corporate messaging, like he said in the beginning of the video his initial reaction was sadness, he didn't get angry until reading the insulting open letter to the "tomb raider community"
I want the Fusion one!
