Thats quite an impressive number! The things I liked the most where the Wizard and the "skill stones" I don't know what they called those again, but I liked the idea.
Well, if I would only think SP then the triology is probably the best thing that could have happened: we get 3 times the content, who can say no to that?
What I do worry about is having 3 types of multiplayer when all 3 parts are released. I actually hope that the sides will function differently from how it works in broodwar: I hope they take the CnC generals mode approach: each chapter would add "sides" that are partially equal and partially new but overall just as str...
While I like both, Starcraft is one of the few RTS games that I actually play for the story! I looove it and must say that the Story and SP in general are looking amazing for SC2.
I wondered what you talked about when you mentioned the "old ultralisk" since the current ultralisk is very much like the original apart from the fact that it is more impressive, and 3d. Now I get it :) Would be nice, but I don't expect an ultralisk to be something James would steal... not even in one of his many drunk moments.
This is good news indeed. This does make me wonder what else this SP tech tree has in store for us singpleplayer fans!
Haha, well not only so many things at once, but they also have to repeat things over and over and... well you get the point. Still this is the case throughout the year when various press teams visit blizz.
Well some sort of environment bender in combination with spell stealing and shapeshifting would be interesting. A really strategic class that gets it strength from the enviroment.
Many people expect
a rogue/assassin type
and
a paladin/priest type
I hope for a special but very interesting mix of other things.
If they would include a murlock anything near the way you envision it crowds will cry wow related things, wow players will buy the game just to see it in high resolution action and even the remains of old tristram will goto hell.
Logical conclusion, but I hope you are wrong! I do love the 3th character though..
Well, it wouldn't be fun for the journalists if every question they have is answered before they ask it now would it :P
I agree, although I do miss the free live coverage we had during the Blizzard World Wide Invitational 2008.
@Leord: does that mean chapter 2 adds multiplayer functionality/units, stuff like that on top of the additional singleplayer campaign?
Is there any information on the time they plan between releases?
/Signed. Even though I don't care if it gets ported later on I do like the PC exclusiveness ;)
Well, it doesn't reassure me at all. I still have faith in the fact that they make the right decision. I agree that letting us pay 150$ for 3 campaigns might be a bit over the top.
I agree. Even now I would still buy an SC1 expansion ^^.
It depends on the details of this deal if you ask me. If every product offers you multiplayer functionality then additional chapters only offer additional singleplayer. While I love singleplayer alot, that would not be the same value for the same amount of money.
In short: if the value for money is good and remains the same for all three products than I don't see any problem with this setup.
Although I know the Wizard is brand new and all the skills are still subject to change I am very impressed by this class already. Some good old spells with news graphics such as Teleport (can't go without it) but many more spanking new ones such as Electrocute and arcane bolt.
Conclusion: Sweet!
Yea there sure are! I usually play caster classes. One of the reasons is that they can steal the show with an impressive lightning show. This is the sorceress on crack.
Haha, very entertaining. Thanks!
Yea, now its only a matter of time before they rainbow t-shirts appear in the BlizzStore ;) Oh and Starcraft 2 will probably have quite a collection of them :P
