Is this verifiable?
I hope Windows 7 is going to be what they say: as Vista should've been. Nice article Kalos.
11 years and still waiting! I think that says enough :(
Looks can be deceiving, but I agree with you that it looks pretty nice already. What makes me wonder is what is taking them so damn long. The units seem to be pretty solid now (not to many big changes).
All I can think of is that the artists are to busy with SP to be thinking of Zerg blood (structures) or they are being pulled away again!
It feels like this development process is getting slower with every game they release :(
@Leord: the last full blown game they've released was the original World of Warcraft. So it has been quite a while since they released a full game!
The email looks good, but it does link to the current Starcraft II General discussion so that makes me fear that it might be fake after all.
Its almost annoying knowing the beta is this close, yet still unannounced. Every day it takes longer for them to finish the product far enough to into beta also means a later release (at least that is what I think).
BTW: that avatar of yours looks scary!
So that means BlizzCon and BWWI goers can cash in their key now? Safely?!
I guess you could look at it like that. If that is how they want/like to live then thats fine with me.
However, my personal opinion is that no-one has (or at least should have) the right to restrict others on things that do not hurt others or the society in general.
@Proxy: what makes you think that you will even want to play SupCom2 after you enter Starcraft? :)
Either that or they plan do celebrate the Birthday of Starcraft BIG :)
Is this really true? Today really is just like Christmas ;)
I know Starcraft is big in that area, and a game probably needs heroes these days so it is only logical if you look at it like that.
However, most of us players are not even close to pro and play it for the reason it was made for: entertainment.
If it helps the game, perfect; I think in terms of balance it does, but in terms of MP graphics it does damage the potential a bit.
This is one of those features I really want to try hands on. It seems to be a huge improvement over the version Starcraft, or even Warcraft 3 had.
Ehm, well, how could revealing the first sighting of Battle.net 2.0 be brought in small chunks? It'd rather have this then some new riddle :P
@Leord: that is perfectly fine with me!
Blizzard explosion? Quite a bit of good Blizzard/Starcraft 2 news today. Loving it :D
Heh, stop that please. It seems work is ongoing. Either way, we aren't downloading the beta just yet ^^.
I don't expect the impact on those games to be real meaningful. You will probably notice some changes such as extra management options and such, but other then that I don't expect all that much.
Even though some people are far to sensitive in this area I do agree to a certain degree. It is good to keep an eye at the differentiation of both games, especially now both are being developed on the same location.
WoW is good in its own right and so it the Diablo series. Part of what makes them good, their identity and feeling, should in my opinion, be maintained.
