Whoa, long expected news inc :D This also means the Starcraft II beta must be really close now!!
@Zidane: its more then close enough to be interesting ;)
In the past their attendance would've been a sure thing, but with both BlizzCon and the BWWI, its no longer a sure thing. SF is not to far away from BlizzHQ (Irvine) so there is hope :)
@Cogo: Its a bit two sided really. People tend to read something in every small thing they can find so it might just as well be coincidence. However I looking at their level of professionalism it might just as well be true.
@Leord: Well, true. But in the worst case scenario they might actually have crossed it already! Good possible announcement dates are GDC San Francisco(23-27 march, if they attend), 31st of March or 1st of April (not sure which one, but one of those two is the birthday of Starcraft).
I totally agree, they are driving me crazy!
Lol: so true :D
Thats a crazy amount of money to play games. I do wonder if this is still nice if you do it for a job...
I did notice Fiend/Blink/Gloom/Familiar thingy. It seems to be back.
At least balance should not be an issue as much as it is now with Starcraft 2 :)
It is always exciting to see a few new ones. Are these shots of a new dungeon as well?
Well, with these kind of games there is running the game and beeing able to play it competively with large armies. Not sure where the border lies between the two for this game.
Speaking of large numbers of units: I am really happy with the demo's I have seen thus far in which they show hundreds of units battle it out. My fear of a second Warcraft 3 (small amounts of units) does not seem to become a reality here :D
I think its interesting to see how the organic development cycles of the Blizzard team actually work. We're able to see more details then ever before, even though its not even close to all that is changing ;)
I wonder how much of these upgrades have been done under the influence of Blizzards' cinematics team. I understood they operate company wide, but had a special involvement in the development of the ingame graphics for Starcraft 2 as well!
@Maticus: I agree that it would have been nice when looking at their cult status. But don't forget that we don't know anything about their replacements thusfar. They might actually be better ;)
I am sorry to see them go. If this is going to be a good choice or not depends on what we get in return.
That theme park thing sounds like a lot of fun. Designing a themed ride! whoa, I might actually give this one a try just for the fun of it!
I don't need "more". 1 Beta key is enough :D
More betakeys? :D Or maybe they are planning to announce that a beta key can be used for more then one person so their friends can join? ^^
Chicken like units? You like chicken as much as Terrans =P?
It seems implementation is ongoing so I think we are going to see more and more during the next few days :D
