Hit’em where it hurts, the pocket book. Don’t buy any more COD games, which is a shame. I love COD WaW and COD MW1.
Well I this makes me laugh. And everyone was talking about the PC pirate problem.
L4D2 all the way, there is no comparison.
If I want to play some Modern Warfare I have MW1, Arma I and II , Operation Flashpoint plus several others. If I want something original, fun and challenging I go with Valve's L4D2.
It’s funny seeing this kind of article when the news states that the video card companies have sold 20% more this year.
Not going to buy it at release, I’ll wait until it hits the bargain bin or on sale (maybe a year after release).
But seriously I bought Arma 2, Operation Flashpoint Tropico 3, preordered Borderlands, Left 4 Dead 2 and Dragon Age. So I can wait for a long time.
I never had a problem with Vista. I did like XP but the problem Vista had was the lack of drivers when first released. Had Vista released as it is today, no one would get Windows 7. Unless you just have a pile of crap system, if that is the case, that’s the user’s fault.
What really, really, really pisses me off about these reviews is that, I AM NOT PLAYING THE GAME YET! (WHINE)………….
Wasn’t going to buy the game anyway at launch. They shouldn’t have jacked the price up, was going to wait for it to go lower before buying (like the Steam weekend deal, or D2D sale). But this just makes it where I won’t buy it at all. I have MW1 and with other games coming out, they will satisfy my shooting needs (L4D2 and Borderlands).
Bought four copies of Borderlands on Steam. Good deal @ $33.50 each. Bought Left 4 Dead 2 also.
Buying the four pack on Steam Friday. And I can't wait!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I have to agree with GamersGate (even though I don’t like their system). I wouldn’t mind a central system where a gamer has an account and any game that they have purchased is listed. So if a digital retainer goes under, I don’t lose my games. Currently I have over 70+ games with Steam, I could lose a lot of money if they go under. But I am now spreading the wealth to D2D and Impulse.
A very harsh review, but I can agree with it since I played more yesterday. I will be very careful in the future on my purchases from this company.
I feel that reviews should be started about a month after release. I think that the Devs will make changes through patches that will make the game better. But in my opinion the game is fun and that is all that matters. Besides I bought my copy for $39.99, not $49.99 or $59.99. Between the updates and the modders this will be a solid title for the PC.
I disagree PS360Wii.
When you promise to do something, you must honor it, unless an act of god/nature stops your progress. Bethesda has the right and Interplay dropped the ball. But using the wiki for a source of information is not wise.
Wow I played the original Wasteland years ago. Can't remember if it was on my C-64 or Tandy 1000. Too many games, not enough brain-cells.
I own every game that is Mechwarrior related. I cannot wait for this to come out. I hope we can play the Ghost Bears..................
Pirating has been on the decline for the PC because of Digital Distribution. Likewise, Console pirating will be on the rise.
Don’t believe me, look here………….

I do own a PS3 and Wii. I do like my sports games on them, that is where they shine............
First , it’s a game. Secondly there will always be changes. If there are any changes that are drastic, then it is best for it to be done early or end up like the NGE. I don’t see a problem with the changes that has been done. The game is way too easy anyway. I made a character then within 6 hours I was level 16. The only complaint that I have is that the nemesis can’t be made until level 25.
It really depends on the contract. If the parents setup the game and let the kid have full control, then they are in the wrong. But if the kid set it up, then the parents should not be held accountable.
But this seems to me like the old AOL scheme before the internet. They would give you like 10 hours a month. After that they would charge you $3.00 per hour. That might not sound like alot, but a 1 meg patch would take a freaking long time.
First and foremost PC gaming is alive and well. I own a PS3, if I want to play a driving game, sports or arcade type game, I buy it for the console. But if I want to play a strategy game, shooter, and MMO, I play it on the PC. RPG games depending on the title can be either or. I wouldn’t worry about PC gaming until the next generation of consoles coming out, and that is only if they incorporate the mouse and keyboard. But if they add PC items to the console, well it isn’t a console, it’s a PC...
