Another reason I am glad I stuck to boycotting MW2. Which all of this is a shame and could have been avoided. Only if they had done the best job they could have without trying to bend each other over, including the customer. And my beef about dedicated servers was second only to the price increase and content decrease more than anything else.
So what’s the big deal about a day one patch?
If there is a problem then fix it. Man some people need to remember how it was like before the internet (BBS) or when it first started.
Played it this weekend and I must say that this the best DLC for Borderlands so far. Man what an awesome game with all of the DLC.
It is called Business and sometimes there are winners and losers. IW should have been smarter with their contract. Activision isn't some bunch of morons who doesn't know how business is handled, they played smart. And I still haven't bought MW2 and I am not a fan of Activision.
Well had Grandpa not had the gun, this thread would have been: “Mother and Grandfather killed because the game World of Warcraft”! Then there would be stupid politicians trying to make laws limiting the use or the content of my favorite hobbie.
The only thing I can say that is bad about Bad Company 2. Is that I won't be buying any more games for quite some time.
Today was the first time in over two years I went to a retail store (Best Buy). The ONLY reason was to buy the Expansion to Everquest 2, which they released retail first then DD (stupid move also). Yes, I am impatient.
Love the demo, love the series. Going to be an awesome game.
Master of Magic and Master of Orion were the top games in my opinion at the time. I spent a good many hours playing both. If any company can make this genre into a good game, it is Stardock. And of course I will be buying it………..
In my opinion the demo was decent. My son was having fun as the alien, surprised he didn't like the predator. I'll wait for the game to drop 10-20 bucks before I buy.
Genres come and go. It wasn’t long ago that space flight simulators were the main things going on in PC gaming. Now they are few and far between. RTS titles will be just like this and they will be just like this, then they will come back in several years.
I have a nice big screen tv that can play my PC games just as well if I owned a Xbox 360 (which I don’t). In my opinion it has never been a question of which graphics was better. It is a question of controls and access. The Xbox or any console cannot get to a website quick , like I can with my PC if I need hints. I can buy a game within seconds and have it downloaded while I am playing another game. I don’t have to get up to put in a CD if I want to switch games, I just double click. And any ...
Mako Gone = Great, Planet Survey = Bad
I liked the Mako, I like the Planet Survey also, could have done both.
I disagree with the author.
The British Romans Effect.
No one cares about this. Not a necessity, it would have been a nice addition.
Awful Combat Stages
I was ok with the Combat areas, but I will agree with the author on this one.

It is a space game. I disagree with the au...
It’s Everquest 2 not Everquest Live or one, what ever you want to call it. If it was EQ1, I would agree, but EQ2 is awesome even by today’s standards in graphics.
BUT…………….All I can say is it is about time they done something like this. I might resub, just to check it out.
I agree with some of the article and disagree with a lot.
I have just about every Bioware game that has been made for the PC. So I am biased when stories come out about them. But they will know when to change and the time to change is when the all mighty green backs stop coming in.
I happen to like the idea Ubisoft is using. Will it stop pirates? Doubt it, but it is a step in the right direction. Guys, right now we are going through an evolutionary phase. You might not agree with the ways they are doing it. But you are not the one losing tons of money. If any of you have a better idea and the means to make that idea a reality, do it.
When someone tells me that something is ugly , boring, etc. It is their opinion that I am hearing. And this article is no different and it is nitpicking, nothing more. Dragon Age is an awesome game, yes there are some quirks. But until the holodeck is a reality in my home. All games will have these quirks.
There are other ways to authenticate a copy (phone, Microsoft does it all the time). And with Steam you have to be online to authenticate, but once it is done you can go offline.
And if a person authenticates a copy of a game and goes offline. There could be a way to stop from the game from being authenticated again. Or at least until the first install is back online.
If a person is playing modern games on a PC who cannot access the internet is some form (or the companies s...
I hate to break it to you guys, but this is the evolution of PC gaming. I predicted this would happen in one of my post here and I agree with it. The only thing UBI needs to do is create a off-line mode and everyone would be happy. I also think that every company needs to either go with Steam or use their own software.
If every company used there own software or Steam. I want my older games to be included with the software as long as I have a legit serial key. That way I can thr...
I am playing on the PC and can't find a server. If a server were a flotation device, I would have drowned.
