Agreed, that's 4 titles with the exact same engine with minor tweaks.
They need to make a COD with characters that have weight on them, not shooting Styrofoam rag dolls.
Everyone knows you never go Full Retard, and they did with the COD series.
Supposedly some are saying that the "leaked" build is limited to only medium settings despite it saying "Hardcore" which is presumably the highest settings.
I say let's just wait for the full release to make any real judgements.
Activision is to blame, or at least Robert Kotick.
They did it with Tony Hawk, then Guitar Hero, and now COD. They're going to keep milking their main franchises and close everything else that isn't a cash cow to them. Forget about innovation and good games, it's all about money at Activision.
Actually the entire 360 version of the game is already out on torrents.
WoW was never fun to me despite having a lot of friends that are into it.
Yeah that was a terrible joke since most modern Germans are ashamed of their history and don't want to associate with Nazi's.
PLB, there's no screen tearing on any of the PS3 versions as they all have V-Synced enabled, stop BS'ing.
COD doesn't look like crap, there's other games with far worse graphics than COD.
COD Black Ops on the PC actually looks terrific.
And honestly, destruction in COD wouldn't make it COD anymore. Then again, maybe that's a good thing.
I agree, doesn't matter if something's a good deal or not, if it exceeds what the consumers are willing to pay, then it won't sell.
Nintendo is testing this theory with the 3DS. They priced it at $249.
Not $299, not $199, but $249. If it doesn't sell like gangbusters, then they can drop it to $199. If it DOES sell like gangbusters anyway, their next Nintendo product will be priced higher.
Probably Spec Ops: The Line
360:
+ Slightly higher texture filtering
+ A hair sharper
- A hair washed out
All in all, 99.9% identical with no difference to even bother.
Come to think of it, this is Capcom's best effort on PS3 so far.
How thick are some of you guys?
He's saying in defense of PC games that they haven't gone anywhere but migrated online in terms of social interactivity.
Yup it's amazing that it's still selling well despite a decline.
I agree, FFVI is the best FF ever. It's a shame that SE keeps making all these remakes but totally forgetting VI.
Screw a VII re-make, do a VI remake!
LOL
Correction, it's 1.5 years head start in EU.
wesley, DX10 is a failure in the sense that it didn't really bring anything new to the table. DX11 is different because it introduces easier multi-threaded rendering and Tessellation.
It just depends how it is used. For Crysis 2, seeing as how everyone is pinning it on Crytek to be the top dog in the PC games technology area, they better do something good with DX11 which is why everyone wants to see it.
Some people are saying its consolized. This is one of the few times I agree and honestly, thankfully it is. I'm sorry, right click attack and wait gets boring.
DX11 if coded to do so, can run better than lower DX.
http://www.pcgameshardware....
The only time DX11 can beat up a GPU is because of Tessellation.
I'm confused, when was 8.5 even a bad score? If it was a 5/10, then I'd understand. But most of the time, those reviews knocked on the story which is highly subjective.
The core gameplay, graphics, and production value is a winner across the board.
And don't even both with Gamespot, after they're stupid BS of a preview of GT5 they hold no credibility.
