After careful discussions with many friends who play COD, we all agreed COD4 was THE best COD for multiplayer. It was JUST RIGHT. Not over the top and not too light on features either.
MW3 will "probably" end up selling more.
BF3 will DEFINITELY be the better game.

Edit: Agent-86 beat me to it.
LOL...
Because if you DID know anything about PC hardware, you'll find out that you can have a killer gaming PC for under $600. If you want the ULTIMATE gaming PC, which is something like TRI-SLI and triple monitors, then yeah you'll be looking at $2000+. But in reality nobody needs that.
Mostly if you want at least 1080p 60-120fps, $600 to $1000 will suffice and I'm even overexaggerating.
Add the fact that you only get one Wii U controller, no other media playback features on the console itself, a weak online infrastructure, and yes most likely by the time it comes out it will be underpowered. Nintendo cant ride the coat tails of the Wii on this one.
Well Nintendo sure is missing the part where people gather in a group to play some split screen or multiplayer sports games because why? Only one Wii U controller per console.
Oh well, I'm buying the PS3 version anyway to play with my buddies.
I'm going to have the PC version too just to enjoy it in all it's glory.
Uhh that crysis video gave me a headache. Perhaps if they toned down the over exaggerated movement just a notch, it would look better. And the extreme amount of motion blur looks ridiculous. Otherwise it looks pretty good for a mod though.
I honestly don't know what people are expecting in graphics anymore. All I know is that games like Uncharted have crafted story telling that is more exciting than watching a movie in which the graphics only compliment the game itself wh...
And now the poor sap has to suffer playing the actual game.
WHOA THERE... 15 years you mean. lol
Actually it makes sense they talk about COD because that will catch the attention of COD fans.
Think about it, they put big signs that says "This game is better than Call of Duty" so what do you think those COD fans will say? They'll try it to see what it's all about.
Well actually to put it simply, Battlefield is a thinking man's game. Call of Duty is a twitch shooter that just so happens to be filled with girly voiced 12 year olds.
Don't get me wrong, there are some girly voiced 12 year olds on Battlefield too, but the difference is that they only last a few rounds and go back to COD.
Some of you guys are missing the point that if Nintendo is truly targeting hardcore + casual gamers, then that means Nintendo needs to give people a reason to ditch or not buy a PS3/360 instead. Instead they are taking out a lot of the reasons why people own a PS3/360 which is the games + other features.
Why would any person buy a $299 (or however much it will cost) Wii U to play Battlefield 3 when you can buy a PS3/360 that does the same thing but have a solid network infra...
"We didn't want to piss off the consumers, we just wanted to disrupt service for a month so that they cant play any of their games online, play games they bought and downloaded, use the music or video services, and use what they bought the system for."
Contrast ratios don't mean too much. Some TV's that have like 1,000,000:1 contrast ratios get down to 3000:1 when properly fine tuned for movies.
That and contrast ratios vary from brand to brand, and seeing how this is an LED TV it's not going to be too noticeable.
BUT, I'd like to see it in person first before making any real judgement.
What the PSV needs is Pokemon Diamonds and Pokemon Chuck Norris editions. If they could somehow use the front and rear cameras to do the augmented reality thing, on top of 15 year old gameplay, then Sony will have a hit and sell 8 billion PS Vitas.
All joking aside, I'd have to agree with the Nintendo fanboys here. Despite the Vita having technically superior hardware and a host of other features, I still see it being outsold by the Nintendo handheld in the long run.
I have to agree it was the strangest hardware reveal.
No actual specs, no price, no date. Just really a big fat question mark.
And then Iwata is puzzled??? I hope he's as puzzled as all the media, consumers, and stockholders on what the hell the actual device is.
It was pretty obvious that it was staged considering there was a blip of the screen as if the video changed.
But it was a boring scripted gameplay segment anyway.
Wow, one of the best cosplays out there. I'd hit it all night long.
$599.99
