Despite all this, sadly the 3DS is still going to outsell the NGP. It's a Nintendo handheld. It's 3D. No it doesn't have to do anything magnificent because the hordes of parents will buy it for their kids. That simple. I'm getting one, but I wonder how long will I play it before it just sits on my computer desk staring at me.
It's their taste.
Not my cup of tea either, but you cant change a nation's preference if it is what it is.
Insomniac's on a roll. They might have dropped the ball a little bit with R2, but they've proven time and time again they're one of the top developers in the industry. I'm anxious to see what their new multi-plat IP is.
People choose to buy a car that's marked up $5,000 over MSRP. Sure it's their choice, that doesn't mean they aren't getting ripped off.
I'm not concerned about people's choices, I'm concerned about the milkage from companies like Activision.
So you have to constantly remind yourself that your an adult? Hilarious.
Adult or not, getting ripped off is universal for all ages.
Killzone 3 on the PS3 for me.
Though I'm considering getting Bulletstorm for the PC. I hope they support mods.

Good points. Might I add that why in the world would a phone need a quad core CPU to begin with? The amount of multi-tasking on the phone wouldn't even NEED it. A dual-core is probably all that would be needed considering most people with phones might run just a couple apps at the same time. Otherwise, it's overkill. If anything, phone companies might look into adding more speed per core than just adding cores.
And I highly agree that its go...
WOW... 70 whole minutes of cutscenes!?!??!?!?!?!? OMG, they might as well have made it a movie!!!
O_O
This folks, is the reason why the games industry is a joke. Or at least the wannabe journalist side of it.
I'm still playing the PC version at the moment, but it does feel like they throw in a lot of cheap scares now. It's like every 5-10 minutes I already know to ready my plasma cutter in an empty room, and then voila a random enemy pops up either from the wall or from the roof.
With that said, overall it seems to be a great game in terms of gameplay.
LOL
OMG, so that means my 3.8ghz quad core is actually 15.2ghz!!!
O_O
This article proves why games "journalist" don't know a damn thing about what they're trying to write about. You don't just add up the speed on the cores, it doesn't work that way. For example, an AMD X6 runs at 3.2 ghz, that doesn't mean 3.2ghzX6, that just means 3.2ghz per core. If a program is written to take advantage of one core, then you ...
OooOh looking forward to this
"if the cell is so powerfull why arent sony exclusives developed primarily on the ps3 all 1080p60fps"
When games are played in higher resolutions, it relies more on the GPU. Particularly the amount of VRAM.
The CPU on the other hand is meant to calculate things like physics, AI, processing inputs etc.
So it doesn't matter if you have an extremely powerful CPU, if you want to achieve 1080p 60fps+, you need a powerful GPU. Simple...
Good thing I already have a PSP. But IMO people should just wait and use that extra $130 towards the NGP.
I fail to see how any of this relates to Killzone?
I'm getting Crysis 2 on the platform that it was meant for, the PC.
I don't think that's going to happen because so far the only people with dual or even triple GPU setups can attain those results at 2560x1600 resolution.
The reason I say GTX 560 is because it can do most games 60-100fps, and considering it will be a console it probably will end up being 30fps most of the time.
Of course though that just makes the price of the PS4 much lower. If they put a even higher end GPU than that, then we might see another $59...
It was also said that it was only ported in a week or two? I'm pretty sure if they designed it from the ground up, they could achieve the same visual fidelity as the PS3 MGS4.
All the PS4 needs is a dual cell + something like a GTX 560ti
3DS first, simply because it's coming out first, and then NGP.
I disagree. Forza 4 could be great, and Dirt 3 (on PC at least) will be awesome, but Shift 2 is a meh to me. If they somehow made the cars feel normal and not feel like a 5000lb chevy wagon, then it might end up being good.
I agree. Demon's Souls is probably one of the biggest underground hits this generation so far. And Sony didn't do a damn thing. The only reason U.S. gamers got to enjoy it is because of Atlus.
And I'm not surprised this title is now Multi-Platform. However, I'm very happy they made that decision to fund their company which means they could keep the servers online a lot longer and have longer support.
