How Racist. We all know ALL Asians always wear glasses. lol
Pretty lame article considering that graphics isn't always about resolution and textures. This is coming from someone who spent $550 on a graphics card.
But sometimes there are rare games that despite it's technical shortcomings (compared to other games) the overall art and feel of the game is also what graphics are.
Look at Shadow of the Colossus. Probably one of the most respected games in the industry but it was on the PS2 and ran in a low resolu...
Considering there's still no other shooters that come close to the amount of fun in multiplayer for the franchise, I'd say true juggernaut.
Well times have changed and that includes people being able to preview the games before they came out. I mean come on, if you didn't see footage of something like Too Human or Damnation, and you spent $60 buying it just to find out its crap, wouldn't you be pissed?
Just face it, this day and age consumers get to have research and a deeper look into their product purchases.
Nobody should go out and buy the next console without research. Or their next c...
Shame, looks like it's going to be a poor showing for the PS3 version. People should put money towards the PC version instead or at the very least get the 360 version.
Yeah the amount of ignorance and fud spread across the internet is mesmerizing. They said it will have PS3-like quality graphics, NOT PS3 graphics itself.
Oh well, this is an exciting year for tech. NGP, iPad 2, MotoXoom, AMD Fusion APUs, Intel Sandy Bridge and soon Ivy Bridge, Nintendo 3DS, Dual GPU card from AMD and Nvidia, and more.
Wow, surprise surprise. Slap some new skin on it, attach the Modern Warfare 3 name, put a lame crazy story. This time you have to help Captain price and Soap battle aliens on Mars because the Martians planned to assassinate the U.S. President but the U.S. President was a Decoy and is actually a Russian Spy who was actually also a Decoy hiding the real threat in which is Captain Price who deceives Soap and Kills him but it turns out he was also a Decoy in which Ghost who burned alive is the re...
Yeah the PC version is going to be balls out awesome. The console versions, I'm expecting 30fps or less with TeH JagGiez!!!
The game will look like it at least on the PC.
Well Steam is one reason (I personally like it too) but it's also the fact that its hard to find retail copy games. In my area, there are no physical Bulletstorm copies to be found. Or Need for Speed Hot Pursuit, and other games that I cant remember.
Because there are still some good console-only games...?
Heck, if 100% of everything available on consoles is also available on the PC, I'd sell my 360, PS3, and Wii in a heart beat and probably end up buying a high end gaming Laptop. Sadly that's not the case my friend.
But I am pretty happy that Crysis 2 runs buttery smooth. (Finally a properly coded PC game, imagine that!)
lol ediddy, you guys are the new hiphopgamer, sensational headlines for hits. I bet this is Hamster's idea isn't it! Keep up the good work. LOL
@Snake, if you can run Crysis Warhead at 40-60fps you'll run this demo most likely locked 60fps or higher. With VSync off on Hardcore settings I get 70-100fps in 1080p resolution on a GTX 580.
Either they coded the game this time better or its because of the smaller map size compared to the original Crysis. Either way IMO it looks and plays pretty good.
I agree with BiggC. Who really cares if one is "better" and considering they're such different style of games.
All I know is from what I've seen is that Infamous 2 is a massive leap over Infamous 1 without sacrificing what made the original good. It's one of the few titles that's "Wowed" me for this year.

I highly agree about the CPU post. A fast CPU should last for years but GPUs get outdated much quicker. I learned that the hard way trying to put a GTX 260 on my old Pentium D LOL, needless to say even the GTX260 was severely bottlenecked by the CPU. One day I want to build something along the lines of an Intel 990X or whatever else comes out in the future. For now my AMD 965 3.8ghz is fast enough.
@B1663R
Interesting suggestion. I've always installed my GPUs without any type grease and they've lasted for years. Heck, my 8800GTS is still alive and kicking in my old computer.
Yup going to be an interesting dual gpu comparison coming up. IMO I think the 590 will outperform the 6990, but then again something tells me that if the 6990 really is 4GB, it will blow the 590 out of the water in terms of 3 Monitors.
So this article is based on conjecture and not actual specs yet?
I don't think people should be flailing their arms in the air yet until benchmarks are done and the price is shown. However, this is got to be more powerful than the 5970 so I'm looking forward to seeing the results.
Cerberus2125, you have my seal of approval.
