Uhh considering that gaming laptops isn't the representation of "PC gaming," that example is stupid.
PC Gaming consist of a desktop PC with a discrete GPU and CPU. Of course obviously with varying speeds and power.
The real beauty is that PC gaming can match anyone's budget. The more money you put, the better experience you can have. For example, I'm extremely content with my 1080p 23" Monitor, GTX 580. However, I have a friend wh...
That's the original resolution for Resistance 1 and Ratchet & Clank Future. It was still pretty much 720p except on the top and bottom was cut off slightly.
If it means better performance, then it's a good move.
Well the graphics in R2 was probably slightly sharper due to the higher resolution.
But yes R3 does have more effects and the overall graphical presentation is better than R2.
That's actually a good point that isn't brought up too often.
Game reviewers actually don't know jack sh*t about the real technical details about making games. They only know their own opinions.
However, in a sense that's what should be reviewed more, the game not necessarily the tech.
You can understand that if a shitty game was made by hard working developers, that doesn't mean the game should receive an instant 9+ beca...
Runs perfect on my machine.
I'm playing it in 1920x1080 32xCSAA 60+fps (V-SYNC on).
And clearly you're not a PC gamer if you don't enjoy buttery smooth frame rates, responsive gameplay, high resolutions, and lower initial prices ($49.99 on Steam)
Nothing against consoles (I enjoy my PS3/360 regularly) but anything available on the PC, I'd be an idiot not to get it there.
WTF I wanted to see some MW3 footage, all they did was show MW2.
Oh wait...
Huh I didn't say a single thing about the PS3 or GT5.
I'm talking specifically about Forza. I was severely disappointed with the graphics when I actually started playing the game. The car models aren't even accurate. The environments did look good though, but not mind blowing. I was a huge fan of Forza 2 and put countless hours into it. The graphics weren't that great but I didn't expect them to be. But when idiot developers like Dan Greenawalt kept spewi...
Except that it never looks like that when you actually play the game.
It's like people like to be ignorant on purpose and ignore that fact.
I know the term "$60" map pack is a bit exaggerated, but honestly after seeing all those videos on gametrailers.com, it really does look exactly like MW2. Everything is the same, the sound effects, guns, graphics, gameplay. EVERYTHING.
I mean I am usually one to back up the statement that there's only so much you can do to a FPS to make it different, but clearly Battlefield 3 has shown that you can make the same game but improve it in every way imaginable.
Yeah what's all this business about people not liking it? I'm ready for the MW2 Map Pack.
Graphics looks exactly like MW2.
Sound effects sound exactly like MW1.
Gameplay elements are now borrowed from Black Ops (Instead of a tomahawk you throw a knife).
Jesus christ folks, it's the same game we've seen over and over.
It looks like Killzone 3 in the mech suit but faster pace. Interesting. This is for PC only right?
I actually agree with gamingdroid. There's just too many issues plaguing the push for 3D.
The biggest overlooked one is the fact that people who just bought a regular LCD not too long ago do not want to fork out more money for a 3DTV, I being one of them.
I still enjoy the bejesus out of my 46" Samsung that is now 3 years old. Movies and games still look great, and I'm not about to part ways with it just to spend more cash on a 3DTV.
This just reminds me of one of those articles that tries to go against the grain.
It's a good game damn it, but nooooo there's always someone out there finding incredibly trivial things to complain about.
Definitely getting this on the PC.
It's from Destructoid.com... Expecting quality writing from that is the same as expecting a Double Cheeseburger to make you lose weight.
Okay that's a poor example, but that's about as nonsense as the "review."
2 analog sticks is the biggest selling point for me. That and everything else to go with it. I loved my PSP, but I always did dream for shooters for it to have a second nub. Notice I said nub because the PSP didn't even have an analog stick.
That's why the PS Vita will sell. To guys like me.
Clearly you need a bigger TV
Heelllzz no. Make it a PC Exclusive if anything.
Wow I remember World Heroes when I was a kid.
It hasn't aged well.
