It never ceases to amaze me how stupid some of these quotes are. So if you don't have the installbase, its not worthwhile for developers/publishers to support your machine. I don't know if you've played RFOM but its a pretty large scaled game. Are the graphics prettier than Gears, thats a NO in in my opinion? Are the maps and missions (campaign mode) huge, I'd say so. the element of speed was captured quite well in the original Sonic Adventure back on the Dreamcast (RIP). It wasn't perfect but I thought it did a good job. The last few Sonics have been about pushing the graphics without emphasing true Sonic gameplay. I think Secret Rings is a good start but speed as always been Sonic's identity.

Anyway, if you want to reduce your cabling and have one cable to handle both the audio and visual side, HDMI 1.3 is the way to go. blade, what if MS and Sony didn't 'future-proof' their systems. 3 years from now when alot more people have HDTVs, what will be their justification for excluding it? Imagine if the MS Elite was released 3 years from now and the installbase of the 360 was 30 million units!!
