I just don't know how to answer your post. Do you really think a processor will process 25 GB of information at a time? Space is for content. Space is only a good thing because you can add more content. What gets loaded in memory and displayed to your screen is a different story.
Please look up the usage of RAM. After that look up texture streaming and why its what developers are aiming for.
they wouldn't be releasing this much unless they are hyping for an 08 release in Japan. I know they want an 08 demo to show off the new battle system but if they release this baby in 08, it would truly be megaton!

we meet again. I agree with what you said. The 360 does have better AA but the controls are spot on for the PS3. I'm only judging by screenshots though as my 360 is D-E-A-D. I also agree that gameplay is the most important thing and you got to go with what feels right.
I don't mind comparisons. Just note that these screenshots were taken from Gamersyde.com (user BlimBlim). He captures PS3 video via HDMI through a debug PS3 and also I think a debug 360 (most likely a retail version). The screen captures were taken after creating HD videos and then splicing them to make a comparison (typically what gametrailers will do also).
What's more important is the game in motion. You can argue over staircase jaggy but I'd rather the game play smooth....
it sure is a collector's item. 5 years from now, I think it'll still be worth 599.99 :)
if they have a 120 GB SKU w/o BC, no big deal. The initial "F U Sony for no BC" comments are over now. Its not that big of a deal. The 40 GB model is a big reason why they are still in the race.
If it does become a big deal as more purchase the PS3 expecting PS2 BC, I think Sony will go 100% software emulation. Again, I think taking the EE and the PS2 GPU out of the PS3 is a good thing. I am sure that Sony engineers can at least get 90% of PS2 software emulated i...

I think the 360 is at about 4.327 million and the PS3 at 3.426 million. It's very possible.
its just the 40 GB SKU with a different color. I do believe that the white 40 GB might have some improved parts in it to warrant a separate FCC filing.
The scan is suspect though. I have my suspicions but I do believe that Sony's business model it to heavily promote the PS3 (non PS2 compatible). This goes in line with what Kaz stated just days ago.

It makes you wonder why they didn't release the 360 version first if they weren't 'neck and neck'? Truly the investors would have been happy to get this title out by Christmas. The truth is that although they were not 'neck and neck' at the end of last year, the game was no where near ready for release. Early demos given to game site editors like IGN supports my reasoning. but one wonders what is at the end of that chain? It seems that the traditional ICO art style is retained (which is a good thing) but I'm hoping Team ICO brings it to another level.
Fix the network code in both the PS3 and 360 versions of the game. I played a little TF2 both yesterday morning and last night. There was no lag in the morning. There was extreme lag in the evening. I'm guessing its because of the traffic of all players (more players in the evening). Has anyone else experienced this on either PS3 or the 360?
mine just died! R.I.Pieces ... its over. I turned on the 360 to play Gears this morning. It stopped reading the discs. I unplugged all cables, unhooked the HD, plugged it all back in and nothing. It got progressively worse. Now, it blinks 4 RED lights. Usually thats an indication that something is not hooked up properly. Well, I've reviewed the setup and everything looks fine. The system will not boot up. I did get the machine 6 months after release so its an older model.

Have VF5 for the PS3. I would love to play online. I guess I understand priorities but PS3 has the bigger installbase.
