I got to admit ... a Madden Wii that was built on an engine specific for the Wii would have been cool. Reusing the engine from the PS2 days made it look cheap!

Agreed ... at the same time, Kotaku should have researched the sales trend of the last Metal Gear Solid game (Snake Eater). It did not sell 1 million in Japan. I do think in its lifetime MGS4 will surpass the sales in Japan for MGS3. MGS4 is reaching almost 3 million in sales.
I'm not feeling good about Source games from Valve. Orange Box PS3 was not a good port. Postal III is being delayed or having dev issues on the PS3 version. L4D PS3 version, what are the chances of it being made well if published/ported by EA?

I think folks are not understanding the expectations of WiiWare. Its similar to XBLA concept of Community Games. It gives other small budget third party developers a chance to create games on the Wii!

Think like a business man Meus. Given the current installbase of the Wii, he did miss out on potential revenue ... possibly more revenue from Wii gamers versus 360/PS3 gamers. The knock on Wii is that its a system of first party Nintendo games + rehashed PS2 ports + party games. If the Wii had solid third party support with games designed for it, it would be another story.
