Technically Crysis might be the most graphically advanced game on the planet, but as far as what simply looks good to my eyes Uncharted 2 beats it.

God of War 3 was awesome, but I would have given it to Uncharted 2 or Mass Effect 2.

Edit @ below, yeah I think it would be third or fourth for me. I don't know though, something about Alan Wake just really appeals to me. Anyway, I am just really happy owning the PS3 and 360 right now. The amount of awesome games coming for both consoles is just staggering. I don't know how I am going to afford all the games I want. :)

I loved Assassin's Creed despite its faults and Assassin's Creed 2 is one of my most anticipated games, but personally I would have chosen Mass Effect 2 or Alan Wake.

Uncharted 2 will also have some pretty well-developed stealth elements. As a stealth fan it is nice to be getting three good games with stealth mechanics--Assassin's Creed 2, Splinter Cell Conviction and Uncharted 2.

Splinter Cell Conviction and Uncharted 2 are probably my two most anticipated games.

If you have the choice get it for the 360, but if you only have a PS3 just get it and enjoy it. It's not the end of the world.

It really is too bad that so many 3rd party developers have problems with the PS3, it's obvious that Sony's first party developers have a good grasp of the hardware and can do some amazing things with it.

Agreed. Owning all consoles is the best way to go. You miss out on too many good games otherwise.

They are both really good games. I was just playing Infamous today and it was a fun time. Prototype has its strengths as well. Try them both out if you can and see which one you like better. Or if you have the money and time, get both.

Damn, I am so excited for Halo Reach. I can't wait to see the new stuff they do.

That's ok, I don't trust Gametrailers. They're biased, remember PS3 fanboys?

Nah, I don't think they are biased, they are entitled to their opinion, I just think PS3 fanboys are hypocrites.

I have the game on the 360 and my friend loaned me his PS3 copy so I could compare and the fact is, there is no difference in the rocks, textures or lighting that I could see. I think that screenshot was an aberration, like maybe the game glitched and it took a second or two for the shadows to appear and the screenshot was captured at that second. I certainly didn't see such a difference. Suspicious too that they couldn't provide more screenshots showing this difference in other areas of t...

Xbox 360 has no games? Oh please, take that BS somewhere else. The 360 has a very strong lineup of upcoming games.

I didn't know that television settings could affect frame rate.

You guys don't have a clue. Halo 3 ODST has as much content as Halo 3. The campaign is equally as long as Halo 3's campaign, it has an all new co-op mode called Firefight that is similar to Horde mode in Gears 2, it has 3 new multiplayer maps, all the maps from all the map packs, Forge and all the other features from Halo 3.

In every way it is as big a Halo game as Halo 3, it just happens to be a side story leading up to the events of Halo 3.

It's a full game, so i...

@menyou

No, it sells because it is one of the best shooters available on consoles, with balanced and fun gameplay and a thriving online community of players.

Yeah, the firefight co-op mode is going to be awesome. The campaign is going to be awesome as well, it's as large as Halo 3's campaign and I am really digging the different approach to the gameplay. I can't wait for this game to drop (pun intended).

6109d ago 5 agree1 disagreeView comment

Yeah, but why the boycott then? If there are really so many of you that won't be buying the game Valve will surely notice the drop in sales and will modify their approach in the future accordingly.

No, this about trying to get your way, which does mean that you think they owe you something.

As for your claim that they broke their promise of providing more content, I don't know where you have been but I have got free DLC from Valve. And they are promising more. Giv...

Of course, to you Sony fanboys everything is Microsoft's fault. Get real. Valve is a huge, successful comapany. They wouldn't be putting this out if they didn't think they had something worthwhile to offer.

HDgamer, GFYS. Pirates are a scourge on the gaming community. You only help to destroy the thing you supposedly love.

I agree with Adam Sessler 100%

The sense of entitlement some gamers have makes me just shake my head.
Valve is one of my favorite developers of all time and the product they are providing is worth every cent of the asking price. If you don't want it, don't buy it. There is nothing more to say. There are hundreds of games every year that I don't think warrant a purchase, but I don't arrogantly form a boycott just to make sure everybody else knows I am not buying those gam...
