Yeah, Firefight is going to be awesome. I can't wait.
At it again, eh jmare?
Anyway, it doesn't matter if their original intentions were to release something value priced with less content, the game has evolved into something more than that and now contains as much content as Halo 3. The campaign is as long as the campaign in Halo 3, so why shouldn't it be priced the same?
How can you call a campaign that is as long as Halo 3's an expansion? Come on, let's be honest here.
You know why so many people like Halo? It's because it is extremely well-balanced and FUN, with a great story/universe behind it. It is still one of the most played online games in the world.
It has as much content as Halo 3, so whatever their original intentions the game is obviously now a full Halo spin off. They said the campaign is just as long as Halo 3's and it has a host of multiplayer content as well, so the game is in no way an expansion like some PS3 fans have tried to claim.
Personally, it is one of my most anticipated games, right up there with Uncharted 2, Splinter Cell Conviction, Mass Effect 2, Forza 3, God of War 2, Left4Dead 2, etc.
Sales indicate the health of a console. Of course good sales don't suddenly make a console better than it is, but if you are already an owner of a particular console and a fan of it obviously you are going to be happy if it sells well. Same thing goes for games. Greater or lesser sales don't change anything about how good a game is, but if you are a fan of a certain game you should want it to do well.
The other thing is, sales numbers are one of the only objective metrics by w...
You think the Wii is hardcore? You're funny.
This generation Microsoft have been more profitable with the 360 than Sony with the PS3. In any case, I hope they both do well, because I believe the competition is good.
I love my 360 and my PS3.
Edit: Disagrees are probably because you are such a fanboy and your comment was completely out of place. Everybody already knows you love your PS3 and hate everything else, but what does that have to do with the article?
It's true that North America isn't the world, but it is by far the biggest market and one of the only ones we have accurate numbers for. Who's fault is that? If you have reliable numbers from other parts of the world I am sure we would all like to see them. We have numbers from North America and Japan and we discuss those numbers, what more do you want?
Edit: Um...it sure didn't sound like your point. It sounded like you were complaining that people think North America equal...
Play them both on your own HDTV and try telling me that inFamous looks better.
Infamous has more slowdown, jaggies everywhere, more pop-in and a poorer framerate. The textures are no better either. Prototype also often has a lot more going on on screen than inFamous.
I own both games. Do you?
Why quote Ghost of Sparta and not IGN? Well, for two reasons. One, I agree with him and disagree with IGN. Two, he is a hardcore PS3 fan and even he can see that the graphics in Prototype are better. I think a person like him is more likely to be closer to the truth than any of the rest of us.
Now let me ask you something...why are you taking IGN's opinion of the graphics as the truth? Other reviewers, including GameZone and Cheat Code Central, have scored the graphics in th...
@ Darkeyes
When have I ever bragged about inFamous getting a bad review? Quit lying about me, you bloody fanatic. I have inFamous and I like it, why would I brag about it getting a low score? I have said lots of good things about the game.
The only reason I am saying Prototype looks better than Infamous is because it does and I am sick of PS3 fanboys distorting the truth and basically misleading people that don't know better.
Even Ghost of Sparta, who...

But why do have to make fun of his weight? He and his team make great games and I respect the man for that.
Yes, I want Half Life 2: Episode 3 more than anything. I do love Left 4 Dead though, and plan on getting L4D2.
Sounds like it's Ubisoft's doing, not Microsoft's. So why are they blaming Microsoft?
Look, it has the amount of content and new features as any full game should, so why do you think it should be sold as an expansion and not a full game? Would you ask for Assassin's Creed 2 or Uncharted 2 to be sold as an expansion? Because honestly, that's exactly what you are doing here. More downloadable expansions will be coming for the first L4D so don't worry.
Another problem is, if they sold it as an expansion how would new users be able to buy it and enjoy it?

You're obviously not for real. Infamous has tons of pop-in. Not to mention ugly jaggies on everything.
Prototype has much better anti-aliasing, much less pop-in, runs at a better frame rate and often has more going on on screen at one time. The textures and everything else look about the same to me.
You're being ignorant, DaTruth. Prototype actually looks better than Infamous in many ways. Infamous looks better in some ways too, but overall I would have to say Prototype is the better looking game.
Short draw distances? Huh, now I know you haven't played Prototype. The draw distances in Prototype are easily much longer than in Infamous.
Just listen to what Ghost of Sparta, who is a self-proclaimed "PS3 fanboy", had to say about the graphics of both ...
Try harder. If you think this game looks like a PS2 game you need to get your eyes checked. It looks pretty good for an open world game and quite comparable to any other game of the same type. It has some advantages over Infamous and Infamous has some advantages as well.
They are both great though, so if you like these type of games I think you'll love both.
