Well, I loved Crackdown and it is still my favorite sandbox game. It was more fun than Infamous or Prototype in my opinion.
No, the first game was called Halo: Combat Evolved.
Half-Life 2 is one of my favorite games of all time, but what makes it so good is mostly the narrative and the variety of gameplay. The actual shooting mechanics are better in Halo. They are both two of my favorite games.
"I promise you that if you make a new account and just keep on saying "har hey har hey, sony for teh win, xbox 360 phail lululululz, mgs 4ever no mgs for teh xb0ts" in the Open Zone, you can reach 10 bubbles within less than three days."
Ha ha, so true. The PS3 fanboys on this site are a joke. I have never seen a bigger group of hypocritical, lying, illogical people in my life. I have a PS3, but the way most PS3 fanboys act leaves a bad taste in my mouth.
I hate pirates. F*cking thieves.
Hmm, well we know that the Halo Reach beta will be coming with Halo 3 ODST and there is also the upcoming Facebook and Twitter functionality, so my guess is that it probably has something to do with one of those.
I can't wait for the next Xbox, but the 360 definitely has a lot of life left in it.
Uh, this hasn't even been confirmed.
I rented this game 2 days ago and my copy doesn't have the problem.
It has been confirmed that the PS3 version does have a rougher framerate in the cutscenes. I also thought the 360 version looked sharper and more vibrant than the PS3 version. Overall, however, it was a pretty dang good multiplat PS3 title --much better than most PS3 versions of multiplat games.
You're right, man, this game is going to be awesome. Only a couple more months to wait too.
God of War 3 is going to be a great looking game and it is one of the games I am looking forward to next year.
Good job. It is a nice console and I am sure you will enjoy it.
@Greywulf
Lighting, animation and textures are all top notch. But again, you are just denying the obvious, so what's the point?
Uncharted 2 won several Best Graphics at E3 awards, but that doesn't mean that it is miles better. It might have been a hair better and the end result would be the same: it wins. You PS3 fanboys take that to mean that Uncharted 2 is untouchable and every other (360) game looks nowhere near as good. It might have been that those reviewer...
You mean- "graphics-wise this game makes PS3 fanboys jealous, so we feel the need to attack it and try to downplay it".
Ignore Greywulf. He is in almost every article writing the same nonsense about how great PS3 exclusives look and how poor 360 exclusives look.
Alan Wake is easily one of the best looking games on any console, the fact that it is a large open-world game makes it that much more impressive.
If someone is going to deny that Alan Wake
Did you guys read Eurogamers recent Face-Off Round 20? http://www.eurogamer.net/ar... The 360 won the majority of them again.
Ha, ha, you guys are so funny. You think one game outweighs every other game? So what if Killzone 2 looks better than some multiplatform game? If a person doesn't like Killzone 2, they aren't going to care how good it looks. It's pointless.
I think it is funny how you guys latch onto Killzone 2 as the solution to everything.
Guys, download both versions of the demo if you want to see what the real differences are. These screen shots tell you virtually nothing. If you have both consoles, play both demos and you will see that the 360 version has a better framerate and somewhat better anti-aliasing, other than that they look basically the same. If you don't have both consoles, I doubt you care about which one looks/performs better anyway.
I downloaded both demos and the main difference I noticed right away is that the PS3 version has quite a bit of slowdown here and there, while the 360 version's frame rate seemed pretty stable.
What BS! I own both consoles and the 360 is every bit as strong a console as the PS3.
I agree with the author's conclusions, but the article isn't really needed since the proof is in the pudding. Xbox LIVE has continued to grow significantly and has actually grown at a faster rate in recent months than in the past. Microsoft continue to improve the service as well, which only adds more value to the service (for the same price).
