Actually, they are both good systems. I have them both, so I am speaking from experience.
This is a great deal though, and includes one of the PS3's best games, so anybody interested in getting a PS3 should pick up this bundle at Amazon.
It looks really great. I am looking forward to this game more than the past few Final Fantasy games.
Xbox Live is a lot better than PSN. Anybody that has extensively used both services knows this to be true. However, PSN is enough for some people and at least it is free.

I like COD 4 Modern Warfare, but I do agree with you guys that Killzone 2 is better. At first I was a little skeptical, but I have been playing it a lot and it is amazingly good and is now one of my favorite PS3 games. I'll be getting Halo 3 ODST too, but not Modern Warfare 2.

I agree with you that Microsoft is doing pretty much what they should be doing. Why wouldn't they want to generally give both of their platforms support? Some games exclusively for the 360 only, some for both the PC and 360 ..I think their strategy is a good one. My point, of course, is that no matter which approach they take at any given point in time, there is always going to be a certain group of people there criticizing them for it.
Killzone 2 is an amazing game with amazing graphics, so I am not going to disagree with you there. But let's be honest, the 360 version of Alan Wake would look pretty much like the PC version, just like most PC/360 games. The main difference is you can get better frame rates, more anti-aliasing and more resolution on the PC, assuming you have the hardware to support it.
I disagree. Most of the people I know that pirate never buy the games they pirate. Their attitude is, 'why pay for something I can get for free'. I think you are giving people far more credit than they deserve. Most people are selfish and believe that they really aren't hurting developers that bad anyway. Piracy is wrong, plain and simple.
On the one hand this is exactly what I think Microsoft need to be doing for the 360 and it is in their best interest. On the other hand, I think it is only natural that PC gamers will be disappointed and upset.
The sad thing is, Microsoft can't win with some people.
If they release their games on the PC and 360 simultaneously some people will say that the 360 has no exclusives.

I just read the Rage feature in GameInformer and the game sounds really good to me. And nobody with eyes can deny that the graphics are some of the best we have seen.
No proper exclusives? I tell you, Halo 3 ODST is as big of an exclusive as anything on the PS3. Only a fanboy would deny such a thing.
The simple truth is, both consoles have some great looking upcoming games to look forward to.
That's your opinion. Personally I'd take Uncharted 2 and Halo 3 ODST over the games you mentioned any day. Bioshock was great, but Fallout 3 and Oblivion are not quite as good in my opinion. Heck, I'd take Modern Warfare 2 and Left4Dead 2 over those games. I love RPGs with a passion, but for some reason those two games didn't quite wow me. They were decent, but something was missing for me.

Not trying to rub it in anybody's face, I'm just happy to own both.
Well, we don't even really know what will eventually be the lineups of the two systems. But I will say that if all the rumored games for PS3 make it out the PS3 will have a bit better lineup. The 360 also has a pretty good lineup, but the Splinter Cell delay weakened it.
That is the 360's biggest fault in my opinion ..it needs more first party support.

All of those games you mentioned are good games, but you have to realize not everybody has the same taste. I personally like Uncharted better than Gears of War, but not everybody agrees with us. Just look at the reviews for evidence of that. Same goes for Killzone 2 -it's a great game, but some people are going to like a different FPS more.

I think PS3 is going to do very well this holiday. That goes for the 360 as well. They both have some great games coming out.
