Oh, MS has a couple of characters like this too, they just aren't allowed to say anything, LOL.
Dude, I think you can ammend that "one of the coolest weapons in ANY game type" LOLs.
Thank you firestarter, bubbles 4u.
EDIT: no prob, man.
Wrong again, both you and Tudors seem to be xbox fanboys, at least CliffyB, the actual designer of GeoW is able to give props where they are due.
He thinks that KZ2 looks "hot" That is his own word. In fact he goes further to say that he and Brussee are sort of like Prof. X and Magneto. I.E equals but on different sides, LOL.
It is truly ironic that we are arguing about whose game looks better Brusee's or Cliffy-B's: you see these two designers co-dev...
Excuse me, I beg to differ. I too own the game- the special edition in fact, the one that has the various makings of videos. Some of that behind the scenes, still in development footage looks a bit cleaner than the final game. Your ss comes from one of those early builds.
I'm sorry, the reason the screenshot I used does not look quite as good is because mine comes straight from finished build gameplay, and yours is from still in development. Come on, Marcus's character is e...
Actually, according to Seb Downie, some aspects are already final, many, however are not. He did not go into specifics for exactly what will be improved...
Nice try, buddy. The screen shot you so cleverly showed is not from the real finished game. That screen shot is taken from when the game was still on development PC's. There is a clear difference between what you showed and what Gears really looks like.
Sorry, this is what the game looks like: Iv'e played it through on all the modes. It does not look as good as Tudors is trying to claim--it looks awesome, but not quite to the level of the pre-release clips. However, I hav...
Guys, this is the same demo, its just that this is the end part, and for whatever reason there seems to be a bit less going on than in other parts of the game.. Hey, the explosion and the flying vehicle at the end looked pretty decent, especially for a game still in a relatively unfinished state. I can't wait to see more of this game!
To be fair, all the footage we have seen, the developer is using god mode..
Also, I noticed that while the player character is shooting away at the tower, the action is continuing...There is a point where out of the corner of the screen an approaching Helghast soldier is taken out by off screen AI! I didn't notice this the first time I watched this.
Why Sony didn't include the exploding tower and hinted at, ensuing attack (from a certain flying vehicle that ended the E3 05 demo) in the 2007 trailer I don't know!
In any case, I hope for the final game, a part such as this isn't as easy as just blowing this thing up--I want to be under attack while I'm trying to destroy this thing. Anyway crazy graphics, no-one can deny that.
edit: Why, why disagree with a rational question like this??
What you say makes a lot of sense about Conviction. I am surprised that you think MGS4 really will remain totally exclusive, wow. I myself am betting that it will show on the 360, but hopefully not until well after launch on PS3. Only time will tell!
So much of your comments I disagree with, but this one, I'm with ya. I really do think that MGS4 is one of the titles really capable of selling the PS3. I think you will probably have your wish in the end. But, I really hope the announcement is held off til' after MGS4 launches on PS3. I think that any sooner would likely severely hurt PS3 sales.
I have a feeling BOTH these games are going to be awesome for different reasons and are made for somewhat different audiences....
On a slightly related note, its really funny what happens when you bookmark old articles:

WOW, I knew that Cliffy-B always gives props where they are deserved but I never knew he WORKED with the lead for KZ2, Damn!!!! that is really funny!
Seriously, I agree. Aside from the character models (really only in the opening cutscene) looking like they could use a few more shaders, some low res textures, and the lack of overhead flying vehicles to shoot missles at, this footage pretty much is at the E3 05' level. Maybe given the time they have til release, we will see these other missing things make the final game. Overall, I am very impressed, especially given that this is still supposedly very early footage!
Congratz, GG. This is amazing. That is all I need to say. I can't wait to see the trailer!
Maddens, based on what the developer said about polycount, this pic seems like it might not be.....complete? I mean, it is a pre-pre-alpha shot, I know. But, it just doesn't seem to square with the insane statement he made...
SOMEthing seems to have been done to the pic....not sure yet. I really hope we find out soon.
Seb said "Over the next few days" so, no, not necessarily tonight....1UP have hinted that they will post impressions of what they played soon as embargo lifts, supposedly around 1:00AM.
EDIT: ORLY?
That is in fact not entirely true. before N'Gai Croal's excellent hands on impression. Gamespot had actually the most thorough write up of the behind closed door presentation...Dare I add, it was even quite positive!
