While I love it with Kinect, I know many who don't, or can't. I work in a field with individuals with disabilities. Those with hand control problems are helped, wheelchair bound gamers tend to be hurt. Wrote another article over at GoozerNation a long time ago. Click to this story, and use the search box to find Motion Controls: The Good, The Bad, and The Ugly.
Funny comment, but the pack in is digital download....so the spare copies will have even more reason to collect dust...especially if it is given a lower price point.
Kinect may have many naysayers, but I am VERY excited as to what Microsoft will do with the tech next generation. Kinect 2 is bound to be amazing, especially if they start hiring these people who are making PC apps for the device.
I LOVE my kids, but agree with this. When my wife and I had a moment together, we'd snuggle up for a movie. Loved that too, but our "free time" was so few and far between that when had free time, we'd do things together. Now, we may have enough down time to get finishing Red Dead!
I think if we do that they will be forced to reconsider price hiking.
How much was the Neo Geo? Didn't it have $200 games? And OnLive and other streaming servers may go there...
Woow....what do your consoles run? Same as here, or are they jacked too?
It becomes the used "illegal copy" battle then. but perhaps that'd make the makers reconsider hiking prices, eventually there'd be no used copies because nobody would buy it new to sell it back in the first place!
Following every rule I can find on N4G: it will NOT let me add a picture. When a picture is included, it diverts me to the main page. If any admin can help me with this issue, it would be appreciated.
Thanks for the clarification. Sometimes, though, I think the "lame" report is a bit abused.
I have often wondered why on N4G we can report for "Lame". What classifies this? Especially in an opinion/editorial? I guess I'm a free speech guy, and to be honest, looking back SM64 isn't the best game out there. Innovative, yes, and worthy of praise, yes, but maybe just a hint of rose tinted glasses on it. I enjoy his points, even if I disagree.
I don't WANT all digital. I feel that companies want that to prevent a lot of the stuff mentioned in this article (renting and trading/selling/borrowing = little or no money for original company), so any trend toward digital will sadly kill those things.
I have a hard time playing ANY plot driven game without playing them in order...drives me bonkers.
I'd buy if it was 360....it's so hard to warrant picking up things like this when the franchise is stalled (thanks Activision). As $20 is a good price for a game without a peripheal tho...
...does this mean no Baldur's Gate 3? Darn cliffhangers...
I originally thought of that for Wii...if there could be some stationary hamster ball that you could stick a remote inside. Is the creator interested in doing more?
I love physical copies due to the amount of HD space needed, and the deletion of old stuff if I wanted anything new.
These kind of deals make me regret ever preordering things. If you have the patience, you can get about everything cheap, and the only things that get hurt are the ones with strong online communities.
Imagine if they had asked $5 a pop for DLC characters, tho.....
The only people I feel bad for are the ones who already bought Jill and Shuma. Maybe if they aren't in the new Ultimate game without buying the DLC, but that'd just be cheap.
One complaint: The title makes me think we're gonna see a Phoenix Wright line in there. :P
