The whole of GoozerNation is full of April Fool's Day jokes. We're having fun. Humor us, and recognize our terrible attempts at comedy. :)

Actually, I need to go in and make an edit. 4 achievements, but the last one is 20, so 50 GS. I'm sure some achievement hunters appreciate anything to pad their score. :)

Good and bad to this is I wanna play it with the Kinect features, but I never played 1 or 2...wouldn't it be neat if they did a rehash like the Metroid Prime Trilogy? All three in a collection for a reduced price adding features of later ones into the originals?

35 game series....two of which are neverending MMOs....in the most basic one we are at Part 7 and still not done....Just how many parts will there be by the end? ;)

For some reason, it took hours upon hours to get approved! Sorry about that. I plan to do one each holiday, and will talk to the head of the site about publishing them late the night before in the US so our European friends can see them in time. Curious: are the EU games keeping American holidays, like July 4?

These kind of articles really help me when I'm trying to find games for my new-to-gaming wife to play!

I need to get Portal 2 back now that she plays...

That is a great outside the box answer! There are a bunch of games in arcades that haven't made it home yet from the 80's/90's that I wish I could play again!

May finally be low enough! The thing I hate though, it it is still "profitable" for that price point...meaning how cheap could they have made it to begin with?

If you missed yesterday, you can search for "Top 5 PS2 Fails" here on N4G. It was story #935467, and got some good conversation over here going. That, or click in and there's a link direct to the story content in the first paragraph of this article.

valid points, but the same article states:
Final Fantasy XI is the only North American game truly dependent on the HDD as it requires various patches and upgrades from Square Enix.

Metal Saga was optional, I guess.

It was a useful thing, and it did pave the way, it was just most likely not as positive/profitable as anyone at Sony would have liked, or else the slim would have had an HDD option. Any expansion will never do as well as the original system...

Thanks for the reply! You make very valid points, but I counter: The HD may lessen loading times, but it had only one game that REQUIRED it. I give to you that it was usable in other places though. Now the others: I feel the tray made it slim, but was primarily that way to curb piracy, as the PS1 had many piracy issues that were aided by access to the drive. Modders made PS2 shells that allowed that for that reason. Convenient in slim, but they could have used a Wii style insert, they were pr...

I don't have a PS3...I've read how that works. Do you lose those licenses if you stop being a PS+ member?

Don't know much about the game, but the screenshot is odd enough for me. We see the protagonist with his coat on one arm perfectly fine, looks to be no issues with it. Then, his other arm has his coat sleeve on it. The coat does not appear to have any detachable parts...he's looking like a GI Joe action figure there!

Great idea, but I think the whole sexuality of it might be a bit much for my rather proper wife. :)

@gaffyh (as I can't reply to a third link) isn't there a pretty much guaranteed child death though? I hear tale of a scene in a mall. Also, is there a general dread of "what if" to a child? And how well can you avoid those possibilities? In the end, I'll probably play it myself, but dunno if I should open it up to her.

I hit "agree" and it added a "disagree" :/ A lot of friends are suggesting ME. she likes thrillers, but not horror, so that is a fine line. Where does Alan fall? Also *SPOILERS FOR HEAVY RAIN* i hear HR breaks a major entertainment rule for my wife...death of a child. Breaks her heart, no matter how subtle, if it happens in a movie.

Seriously, all, if you have any suggestions after reading this article as to what would fit well in the hole that will be left by a completed L.A. Noire for my wife, it'd be appreciated. She's really enjoying this, and it could be a bridge for us to game together! So far I've thought Mass Effect (great story, but she's not good at shooters yet) or Phoenix Wright (the puzzle elements, but she loses the realism). Red Dead was suggested, but she's not too into Western themes....

FINAL UPDATE: @arkhamcitynews, the official Arkham City Twitter account, officially released this article. Within, they announce that the package will be available for 240 MSP or $2.99 for PSN as well as Games for Windows Live. I have tried to contact @arkhamcitynews, @TheRealKevinButler, and @AskPlayStation for more info to no avail.

One wonders how it was free on GFWL earlier today, and it also said "free" on the info at XBL, but without comment it has now gone to...

Author here: Just got a tweetback from @XboxSupport saying "You may have to pay for the content." I hate how they use "may" here....well, take that for what it's worth. :(

4 words let me know that a B-Game can exist:

Rising Zan: Samurai Gunman.

Love that wonderfully terrible game. Simple, glitchy controls, low grade graphics even for the time, cheesy sounds for "voices"...yet I love to play it.
