I know people who avoid Tetris, because they know their evening is lost if they start.
S3&K can be played by buying both games and going to "bonus" in one of them. System recognizes both purchases and acts like they are joined.
Honestly, no. Let's see if I remember:
The Genesis one was two player only, and cut two of the four characters. The audio was cut out, and replaced with speech bubbles. Entire levels were removed, and bosses were mixed onto other level's endings.
SNES had the better conversion, but cut out stuff: there were no western floozies in the doors you went in, all the Indian fighters were replaced with more generic cowboys, there was some, but not all, sound, and agai...
Thank you so much for using that screenshot. The SNES and Genesis conversions are terrible. I need my classic.
Confused. If you bought a game that won't play on your machine and don't have the ability to fix it, compensation is a downloadable version of the same game that you already have to an already jam packed small memory drive?
Or are they referencing a discrepancy with the disc versus download, and the DL doesn't stutter?
How big is the game download to fill up those 4gb HDDs?
I LOVE this game. But my one beef with it (especially on a quick play portable system) is with intro/story/character creation/tutorial/more story you need an hour to get to your first chance to save!
One of my fave games ever though.
#13! Why do we not yet have an Elite Beat Agents sequel!!!
Theatrhythm is the closest, but I miss the zaniness.
EBA is so under appreciated. I got my son a 3DSXL for Christmas, my biggest excitement has been XL screen EBA.
3DS, or dare I say Wii U could do so much with the series!
This is great news. I haven't lost much "action", as the things I wanted kept moving on Goozex. But the trade counter has spiked to 1000 in less than 24 hours on this promotion!
I know the Angry Birds have been popular for a while, but 2016? 3 years from now? What if Angry Birds dies out by then? Unless they keep getting cool franchise crossovers, I'm not sure how much longer that ship can stay afloat.
Kudos if it does, but we're talking three years from now the game still being insanely popular. How much innovation can Angry Birds use to keep fresh?
I know the cheat was possible on the Xbox. I thought I had heard that it didn't work on PS3. But that's kinda the point I want to get people talking about: was this achievement worth it? I actually did it all for fun. It was neat looking forward to it instead of just pumping it all out over the course of an hour.
Hopefully, we'll spark a discussion I can use in my final article for Christmas. :)
I got in trouble thanks to no-pause. Was listening to important dialogue in MGS3. If you hit start, it pauses, but in the worst way. It goes to text only, so you can't be sure who is talking without an extra layer of thought, and you miss out on voice acting. Scenes are unpauseable, too.
My wife came home mid scene with major emotional conversations to be had, I was half sick in a pitch black room for the last hour playing. Big story scene occurs, I should be listening t...
Reading in, I do discuss the backwards compatibility. But I do think we're going to get a difference in game styles as we focus on the Wii U gameplay as opposed to the Wii. Single player status won't focus on the waggle anymore. Games such as Punch Out may still come out using a 'chuck and 'mote, but most likely developers will pander to the tablet.
I'm sure there were plenty of "farewell" PS2 topics back in the day when the PS3 emerged as well. ...
What are your must-play Wii games?
Would that not cause the dreaded "no used sales" issue though? Imagine: user legitimately buys and cross plays, then sells PS3 version. Heck, even deletes Vita version. Without unique coding on each disc, how would they police it? It's either gonna be trickable or cause headaches for used buyers. Even letting a friend borrow it would be a nightmare!
Can't you still cheat the system by letting a friend put it in their ps3 first? Then you have a "used" copy.
I am one away from legitimacy. Two hours, in fact. :)
I see you are one of the cheaters. :P
Didn't most diehards preorder and get the steelbook they'll be using anyways?
The split screen introduced in recent titles allowing you to go further than a screen away from each other is genius. More titles should utilize that.
