Did anyone think that instead of lag that actually it was just 1:1 during the back swing and that once it hit the follow through it was a pre canned annimation. It looked 1:1 until it hit the ball, I swear some people don't think.

XBOX is going to have to release a controller when they realize you can't play games without buttons and you look like an idiot waving an xbox360 controller around.
The Wii motion plus + nunchuck costs 70$ and the move + sub controller costs 80$. The only difference is the eye.

Sony would refund us our 300$ or whatever and then shut down its gaming division. More than likely if this was true it would just renable the otherOS and just deal with the piracy.
But how would it help us if we got 1/2 back. We would get half our money back for a system that was now useless because sony would more than likely shut down shop.

Anyone that doesn't think the Wii is bad for the video game industry wasn't alive in the early 1980s. Seeing Atari 2600 games on shelves for 30 cents after the video game crash. Atari did the exact same thing nintendo is doing now. Just pushed any piece of garbage onto the shelf.

I disagree. This is the only way I think it can do well. My driod plays games and does everything else. People don't want to carry around 10 different portable devices. Adding 3G capability is the next logical step. And I don't see why it couldn't be avaliable across providers? Motorola is, samsung is?

I love how this is kind of shown as a negative article. The article should be titled:
"Sony does it! True 1:1 motion capture in real time! Only 22msec latency, around one frame."
Seriously, it would be hard to expect them to do better than that. I do work in image processing and if you can get latency around 1 frame you are doing a good job.
Anything that takes me a step closer to never installing a windows operating system in the future is a good thing. I use windows for gaming and linux for everything else. I hope that linux support catches on because playing my favorite games on linux would be very nice.

Its so much easier to tell people what is best for them if they are not free. Free people are such a pain in the ass, you know making decisions in their own best interests and forging their own path in life. Well if they are still testing the firmware it makes perfect sense. You don't anounce things until you are absolutly sure its ready for release. That is how world war I got started.
