I think the game will end up looking as good as the release trailer (or better) if you have the game on PC and ultra settings. It won't look quite as pretty on Xbox one and PS4.
It looks a lot like Harry Potter in Deathly Hallows (or beyond):

or Harry Potter after steroids
Nice to see this kind of animated 3D selection screen. The painted 2d characters in some previous MK games like MK 9 were really mediocre looking.
It's not capitalism that's the reason for staleness, it's the average consumer who wants to stick to the tried and true formula and opt for a game that is at least mediocre for their tastes instead of taking risk and investing $60 on a novel gaming experience that they might not like at all.

That is good progress and all but I won't get Driveclub until they feature cloud iridescence and shooting stars in their game. Monochrome rainbows would be a nice plus as well.
I just checked it from Google maps and the distance from the Autodrome to Burj Khalifa is 20 km so you can't see it after all. I checked the street view near the autodrome as well.
Where's Burj Khalifa? Not that the game's about looking at skyscrapers but a kilometer high tower should be visible in the direction of the city center.
@Unreal01:
Xbox One has quite a many exclusives (timed and not) coming out this year. I can't obviously say anything of the quality of the unreleased games but I bet at least a handful of them will get good to great reviews.
Some interesting exclusives:
Halo 5: Guardians
Rise of The Tomb Raider (timed exclusive)
Crackdown 3
Forza Motorsport 6
Inside
Fable Legends
Cuphead (awesome cartoon sty...
The TV show element they showed years back sucked big time. It involved a mother and her daughter, both mediocre actors, having bad dialogue in their home yard.
However, the more recent footage comes across as pretty ok. The TV show focuses on the Monarch (the bad guys) perspective while the gameplay focuses on the good guys' perspective.
As a Finn I could add some other possible reasons to leave the Finland based Remedy: 1) Finland has a horrible climate to live in for the winter, 2) people speak foreign language, 3) friends and family on the other side of the Atlantic, 4) culture might be too different...
You can see pictures of the exact same dress with better camera settings and see that it's black and blue. The picture everyone is arguing about was overexposed, which often happens when shooting large (image area filling) dark objects with crappy cameras with auto settings on.
Basically a dress that is white and gold could be made to look exactly like that with different lighting conditions and camera settings.
Here are different pictures of the same dre...
While Rocksteady is a great developer, Superman is very different from Batman and I'm assuming a game based on Superman would be much harder to craft.
Tpreview must be a truthful review site since Andrea Pessino has said that 8 is the right score for The Order.
-A 3d Donkey Kong Country 4 by the original Rare, with similar artstyle to the SNES Donkey Kong Country games.
-Pokemon MMORPG made by Nintendo in collaboration with Blizzard, with a budget of one billion dollars and overseen by Shigeru Miyamoto and Satoshi Tajiri.
-Crash Bandicoot for PS4 made by Naughty Dog
I wish developers would get part of the ad incomes of Youtube playthroughs to help their financial situation. With the additional income they could also sell their games for cheaper price.
The development costs of AAA titles increases each consle generation and soon it will become unsustainable unless something is done about it. Microtransactions for buying weapons or costumes in game could become the norm but I hope not.
I've made it to part 4 now and so far it's a mixed bag. The visuals are aboslutely amazing, both from an artistic and technical standpoint. However, the action is very traditional and the game seems like a guided tour rather than an adventure.
I was hoping for a more exploratory and adventurous approach. The settings are so gorgeous that it's rather sad that they are simply a static backdrop for going from place A to place B while shooting rebels.
I actually think the Mortal Kombat games were most realistic looking back in the SNES era and that's because they used pictures of actors to make the character animations.
These days MK is one of the dullest looking fighting game series out there. Since they don't have any talent in the character design department, they should return to the real actor stuff.
This is what I'm talking about (cosplay):

Why not show the game in motion?
