NES was released in 1985, Super Nintendo in 1990, N64 in 1996, Gamecube in 2001 (announced in 2000), Wii in 2006 (unveiled in 2005), and Wii U in 2012 (unveiled in 2011).
Considering that all Nintendo's console generations have spanned either 5 or 6 years, it wouldn't be too weird to have NX unveiled in 2016 and released in 2017, especially since NX is rumored to NOT be a direct replacement for Wii U. There are rumors that it's a portable-console-hybrid
Maybe they left out that portion due to schedule constraints on Sony's E3 presentation? A couple of minutes were wasted due to the controller issues and the demo would have went overtime if they chose to run it through in entirety.
The final score seems unfraily low but on the other hand, other reviewers have criticized the "BatTank" missions too. Having the most badass Batmobile-tank ever and using it only for puzzles and shooting drones seems like a missed opportunity. I'm not saying they should have went GTA with the Batmobile but I definitely think they had the chance to craft something truly unforgettable.
I don't really see a big difference in that Watchdogs video (E3 2012 vs. final product in PC Ultra settings).
People should really look into the differences between the words "their", "there", and "they're".
It hope it's even better.
This pretty much confirms that Sullust will be in The Force Awakens film since the film features scenery from Iceland as well (Krafla Volcano).
EDIT: I just read that it had been confirmed that the lava field stage in Sullust is based on the battle of Jakku from Force Awakens.
I think one of the most visually impressive elements in the trailer were the assets (environments, objects, etc.) and DICE has stated that those were indeed in-game assets. In essence, DICE have used photogrammetry to create 3D environments and objects from 2D photographs using a special 3D mapping tech and software.
It is possible to decrease poly count and texture resolution of such photorealistic assets without losing much fidual fidelity because the starting point is so g...
I wonder if the lava field stage shown in the SW Battlefront trailer is actually from Force Awakens.
The tech they use for photogrammetry might become more common in the videogame industry.

The trailer releases in 45 minutes...

I wouldn't be so sure about that. Some developers are just really good at optimising and Dice has had access not only to all the movie props but it has visited the locations as well.
Remember Star Wars RS III Rebel Strike? The Endor sequences looked great, and that was a Gamecube game!

Someone should post a Youtube review of that blow-up based on a teaser for a trailer of a Star Wars game.
I went to the SW Battlefront site to see if my guess was correct, and the trailer is indeed coming out tomorrow, April 17, 2015 10:30 AM PT.

When I was young, games looked like games and movies looked like movies. These days, the games look like movies and movies look like games.
I'm guessing the trailer comes out tomorrow then...
When's the trailer released?

Nolan is the same age as Wahlberg (44) so in that sense Wahlberg and Nolan are on the same line.
