Revenue and Profit are not the same thing. Marketing, servers, paying employees etc. are not free. They also just spent $69 billion on Activision. It might be profitable in 20 years after recouping that purchase.

I don’t think this is much of a detriment at this point going into 2024. Having internet is like having working water for most people nowadays.
Because the articles are generally ridiculous in nature and written by or quoting spin doctors. You don’t see this with anything else as much as you do with Starfield.
To a degree….new blockbuster IP’s have always taken a while though. You just don’t feel like it’s as long because you don’t focus on what you don’t know about yet as a gamer. For example before the last of us 1 did anyone really care? No we were focused on Uncharted. Then once that new IP hits you become hyper focused on clock watching for sequels.
There’s nothing poor about it how many launch psvr1 games were simply tech demos, shallow and sold as full blown games? PSVR2 has legit full fledged console games
My bet is 5 then CV. They already have the framework for 5 now with RE4 remake, would be easier to pump out.
I mean….i feel like these articles are trendy. VR games simply don’t get the press that flat games do because most people can’t experience them. Ownership is much lower.

what? the PS5 currently = Series X. If Sony's base model has as high of performance as Microsoft's higher performance model..... nothing you said makes any sense. I'd be concerned about the experience on Series S.
