This would be good news. This generation has way more in the tank and a 2027 console drop would simply feel like more of the same and not a jump. I'm all for 2029.

Buying games vs making games are two different things. If they don’t go on their recent spending spree they would have Flight Simulator, Halo Infinite, Forza Horizon, Forza Motorsport…..again. Like the last 25 years. The only other difference is everyone else gets to enjoy them without locking into Xbox hardware or the Xbox Subscription ecosystem.

If the console is dead it’s dead. They can publish for PlayStation all they want. Was EA and Ubisoft ever part of the console wars? No.

It’s time for a new engine. I feel like graphically this game has looked the same since MLB 18

You call that practice?

Good because nuketown and shipment are not actually good maps. They are spam boxes for 11 year olds to make them giggle.

Cant imagine attempting this game in multiplayer on a handheld screen.

This will be a must have for the VR2 abilities.

It's relative. If the top selling game has 300K units sold then it wouldn't be hard to take the top spot....but because Microsoft doesn't share sales data to allow the ability for marketing spin we'll never know.

They address sliding in this post. They are nerfing it as well as repeated jumping

Madden gets trashed every year and still sells. COD = Madden.

All this says is they will support the recently released titles, nothing about the future. Zero new information.

So now there are 3 consoles that sell better monthly than the Xbox X|S. It makes it even more painful.

Horizon? Returnal? Demon’s Souls? Spider-Man 2? Silent Hill 2? Gran Turismo 7? Death Stranding 2? God of War? Helldivers 2? Stellar Blade? The Last of Us Part 1? …… None of these are on the list? K.

All of those factors combined buried Microsoft, but the install base for the 360 is also inflated by the RROD, so we truly don't know how competitive it was with the PS3 to begin with. 54% failure rate and 41% had multiple failures.

A mere 4 months ago he was happy with everwild’s progress and will give them the time they need.

This is really irrelevant if it’s behind Xbox game pass membership. PC gamers won’t merge to Xbox for this extra monthly fee. Fake news that it will destroy Sony and PC gamers will flock. How many units has the Steam handheld sold? Can someone remind me? K.

The feel between the two is negligible at best. One thing I can absolutely say is not negligible is the sound difference. The Series controller is a loud, clicky, cheap sounding mess.

I mean you’re getting 3 years at minimum out of a PS5 Pro if it drops end of 2027, I think that’s quite reasonable, especially given most people are trading up for $300

If the Midnight Walk is as good as it looks - that would be absolutely insane in VR soon. As a PSVR2 owner - I certainly don't use it often but every now and then something comes along or calls me back that is an experience like no other. Namely - No Man's Sky, Resident Evil, Gran Turismo.

VR is an excellent time when using it, the problem with it as pathetic as it may seem is setting up and putting on a headset is more effort than just grabbing a remote and plopp...
