Nobody is saying they don't drop another console, I think there is a high probability of that. To be fair though they create these roadmaps shortly after current gen launches without any idea how successful their current products will be. The way Xbox One went, the way Series X|S is going.... I am sure they will be on an incredibly short leash for manufacturing new hardware and it could be do or die for the next-gen.
They won't. Look how they capitalized on Rare. Since Bethesda and Blizzard just dropped their big titles I wouldn't expect much from them any time soon, just Diablo IV milking expansions.

@rupee... it seems you are deliberately being obtuse. PS fans always proclaim XB has no exclusives because of the PC aspect. Im just pointing out the same. They may have been, at one time. But now, not any longer.
Obtuse? Nah. The difference is Sony isn’t dropping new games on PC until a year later or more. A few games come out on PC after people have beaten them to death on PS5 and suddenly it means nothing? If you want to play the best games, and not wait there’s only one...

Based on his comment he wasn’t including PC in this conversation…and yes we can as a PC isn’t a console. So basically Xbox has zero exclusives then if we go that route. PC is there to merely move goal posts in console debates. Most people don’t have gaming PC’s. If you’re anti Sony you aren’t playing any game that was on PS4/5 cross-gen or not.
There have been ample exclusives for PlayStation…. I can name at least 15 high quality games I play on my PS5 that cannot be played on Xbox.
Don't be so fooled. The Windows Phone died, the Zune died. Microsoft has many products they pull back from and could easily pull out of the hardware console market. They have locked themselves in as a publisher though long term.
The current pace of things by October 2024 we're looking at around 60 Million PS5's and 29-30 Mill Series X|S.
In some regards it is. The lack of any load in a game this expansive is truly next-gen. There is nothing that takes you out of the transitions and breaks the immersion. Demon’s Souls, Horizon, God of War, Ratchet & Clank and Spider-Man 2 are all absolute lookers. I can’t wait to see what Naughty Dog is cooking up, as I’m sure it’s going to trump all of these based on how well Last of Us 2 held up on last gen hardware.
Don’t think so but okay let’s play this game. Two games there were a launch disappointment but Fallout has an additional 2 years of patch improvements available to it. This is such a waste of an article to pump up Bethesda. More opportunity to improve due to duration of time, but still the worse game.

Twisted Metal, Jak & Daxter, MotorStorm and a new WipEout for me that both have PSVR2 support.
They have two teams. No way in heck they can drop Miles Morales, Ratchet & Clank, and Spider-Man 2 in 3 years with one team….as well as already dropping a Wolverine trailer 2 years ago.
