It's a good deal since you get the game, the cards, setup, and the eyetoy all together.
The main question is whether I can trust fox news. According to it the PS3 version of Blacksite and UT3 are not being delayed.
I don't understand why users biased towards the 360 should be expected to comment on these topics without seeming biased. The weird thing is that I've never developed the urge to check the 360 tab to scrutinize 360 articles. Not only that, they tend to have multiple posts per PS3 article as well. Is this due to a younger demographic or maybe they just love the internet? Who knows.
Anyways, we all know the gaming division is operating at a loss, but we don't know the source of t...
Hmm I am just a tad more interested in the game now...
I used to like Gamespot when they did a lot of extensive reviews and video reviews for games.
Why is this tagged with 360 and PS3 when it is for PC? People need to start tagging these articles properly.
This will hopefully be the first of many AAA titles to come. Let's hope Naughty Dog's Uncharted does just as well.
I don't know why 360 fans are always rubbing Lair in our face, that's like PS3 fans rubbing those Burger King games in yours.
Once thing I have noticed when I look at PS3 games, their reviews have a much larger standard deviation than 360 ones. Take Ace Combat 6 for example for the 360, its mean is 85 with a range between 80 and 90. But Ratchet & Clank TOD has a mean of 90 with range between 100 and 75. Beautful Katamari has a mean of 77 with range between 70 to 89, but Hea...
For preorder they do the same thing as normal order. Normally, they have just so many in stock and when they run out they are not available. For preorder, they ordered just so many to be delivered on release date, and when the number of preorders go beyond that, it is no longer available for preorder.
The 40GB was available for preorder just a few days ago. I think the question you should have asked is why it was available for preorder before and not anymore. Obviously, its not...
Yeah the main reason 360 hardware was doing well was because it didn't have HD-DVD so it had a lower price, if it adds HD-DVD now to an SKU, it can't possibly cost less than the 40GB PS3. Too late for 360, but maybe good for the 720 if HD-DVD is still breathing by that time.
Yeah, they can't honestly expect to sell well when they delayed the PS3 version and release it when such looked forward to exclusives such as R&C, Uncharted, and Haze are coming out. Midway needs to get its act together.
I'll wait for the NPD numbers for this month instead.
Well, this review makes sense since it is around the avg of other critics.
I like Gamespot, too, but come on. A game like R&C deserves a much more comprehensive review, but instead it was a single page of explaining its faults. This game was not hyped up compared to Halo 3 or even Orange Box, but it was well known and was even spread by word of mouth. Here are my view of his negatives:
1) Since when was the R&C all that dependent on story, this was a solid attempt at it, and this reviewer was the only one who disregarded it. Other reviewers fo...
This man did a single page review for a game that so many people have been looking forward to. It is really easy to see that he just wanted to get it over with. His summary is negative by itself. This is really the first time I've been this outraged at a review.
I really wish there was a way to contact this guy and demand how he tallied his score. He is a real harsh critic, I don't see a single 9.0 or above, and he was tasked with two big titles for the PS3, Heavenly Sword and R&C. This is one of those times I wish gamespot had multiple editors review a game.
This is built with the Unreal 3 engine right? I just hope the english version has the voice syncing with the animation.
Did you actually play the demo on a good HDTV or did you just watch a HD version of it on gametrailers? Obviously its impossible to do what the recent Pixar films have been doing with pre-rendered graphics in real-time, but this is really really close to their Earlier works. The draw distance and the large environment all at 60 fps is just amazing.
I love TF2 but it does not look better, I mean it uses a completely different since it uses a variant of the cell shading technique...
The whole Scientology thing threw me completely away from it. What kind of message are they sending to kids when they try to materialize a twisted, manipulative cult that is posing as a spiritual sanctum through a game.
I would have bought Transformers if it was Blu Ray, but for now I'll settle with Spider Man and Pirates of the Caribbean.
