You say that it is fake as if it was fact and then you suggest that it may never in stock in the first place. I just want to ask where your proof comes from? If you wanted people to actually pay heed to what you are going to say, at least say something like "there could be another reason for this" instead of just dumbing it down and saying it is fan based bs.
MS's solution is to drop price on 360, pay for exclusive JRPG, and then drop prices on those. They just want brand recognition in Japan, and they don't care what it takes to get it.
The amazing thing is that this is their first attempt at creating an engine for the PS3 and they admitted to only be using a third to half of the PS3's true power (I believe he meant in terms of optimization for the Cell architecture).
There's really no reason now for developers to make subpar PS3 games when both a first party (Naughty Dog) and third party (Insomniac) are able to produce these kind of games nonstop.

This is a terrible attempt at trying to generate FUD by labeling this article with PS3 tag to scare off potential buyers. If you look at the picture, it says BD-R which is widely available. BD-R/RE are already at 4x and nothing really speeds up a format's adoption faster than consumer level burners.
Unless NBC ran a similiar story when Blockbuster and Target made a similiar towards BD, then I call them biased.

I love games from Japanese developers and would hate to see them marred by western influence, which I feel may happen if MS starts doing well in Japan. I do NOT want Japanese games that are developed to be catered for Western audience, that's just like bad Chinese fast food.
Toshiba is Japanese, but I agree with you that BD is going to win. As for by how much, it depends on how long it takes before Toshiba and MS finally switch sides themselves. I don't think its rumble. I believe they are seeing how PS3 games are being rated down for their multiplayer aspects the most, so they are making sure MGS4 and MGS Online goes lives at the same time and complement each other perfectly. They want to be THE system seller and aren't going to take any chances.

I put my PS3 on it every night throughout summer and winter. It's just good sense to do this since it doesn't really cost you anything except a few bucks on your electric bill at the end of the month. It's just so easy and painless to do that there really is no reason not to unless you sleep in the same room as your PS3 and you need total silence and darkness. Remember, its these small bits of contributions of people that will go a long way to helping someone else out there a lot.
Get a Sansa 8GB MP3 player. The Zune has such a bad battery life. I got one in a raffle during a Engineering Career Fair, it gives me 6 hrs on a full charge with all other features disabled. MS needs to go back to its roots and stay with software.
