So EA finally got the graphics up to par on the PS3 with the rest of the industry and now they are back to their old problem. My last favorite NFS was NFS Wanted on the PC that was fun and addictive, but since my move to consoles, I've been spending my time playing GT3 and GT4 until GT5 arrives.
Why would Square Enix need the Unreal engine if their White Engine looks this sweet? I can't believe the battle scenes are in-game. Amazing...
Well they were released by 20th Century Fox (Blu Ray exclusive), but I think they are owned by George Lucas, so who knows, but that would definitely be cool.
Well with 40GB PS3, you get a $200 Blu Ray and a $200 PS3 essentially. So they can drop the price of Blu Ray as low as $200 and it still isn't affecting the sales of PS3. I really believe most people buy PS3s for games, as have been proven that most initial buyers don't know that it can even play Blu Ray. So PS3 sells Blu Ray, not the other way around.
And have you heard of hypocrisy? You are on some else's case for stating his own opinion as well. And at least he had the decency not to resort to name calling.
The second one really shows off how the family can have a lot of fun with such a simple free tool. This should help kids get their parents to get them Eye of Judgment. I hope Sony advertise all the possibilities they have in mind for the Eye.
Yeah, I like Penny Arcade's take on the problem. A lot of gamers don't quite care about the game at all; it is blown way out of proportion. With the money wasted on advocating and defending this stupid problem, they could have donated it to some cause (there are so many in the world that could use more attention and support) and actually made a difference. All this does it take attention away from the stories and news that matters.
Let's not forget the Tekken movie coming out under Sony Pictures, it may be part of the deal to keep Tekken part of Sony.
The PS3's memory is split but it is still UMA (unified memory architecture). The memory is mapped so that all 512MB is available is available to both the Cell and RSX. And I believe it reserves 64MB for XMB, not 72MB.

Nope, their answer is a single, open platform for consoles. No more cross platforms or porting, basically they want a PC gaming console.
Same feeling here, but I'd Bioware's games so I wouldn't mind this coming to the PS3, but only if EA does a good port.

Sometimes I feel people no longer have common sense in the face of statistics. Sure they polled a small minority of the consumers and got data for that, but it doesn't explain by the Blu Ray is doing so well. Here's all I know, HD-DVD standalone players are selling well due to their rock bottom price, yet Blu Ray is still dominating as a format. Now I wonder what the missing piece is...
1) Blu Ray owners are extremely attached and buy tons of movies
2) Terrible statistic...

That is quite an insult saying that only fans of the series would enjoy this game. I've read a lot of reviews and some never really got into these games, but were able to enjoy it perfectly well. The review complains about too much variety, and now this guy is saying the varieties are not enough to attract gamers. These guys are really grasping...
Well the 40GB just got released today and there are already report of shortages, so hopefully next week we'll see some interesting stuff.
I like owning the movies I watch, especially for BD movies that I'd like to keep. It won't affect my purchase decisions for the holidays at all.
Avg review should be a 90-95 if there are no more Gamespot and Games(TM) incidents. I can't wait for more reviews to flood in, this sounds like just the game the PS3 has been missing.
