Next week, we will see HD-DVD group announcing double the sales of standalone players over Blu Ray, but obviously PS3s are not included because PS3 owners don't watch Blu Ray movies (since we have Divx/Xvid now). And then the week after, it will flip back again to include PS3s in attach rate.
If there's any professional journalist or analysts who do not pick up on this duplicity, I do not see any reason why anyone in the mass media should ever respect their intelligence or opin...
Yet, I bet there will be pro-HDDVD analysts (like that Lindiche guy), who will spin this news to say HD-DVD is winning the format war without telling the other side of the story. And of course it is all in hopes of grabbing some ill-informed consumers with the low prices. Just remember, the prices are low for a reason, and it's not because they are really that much cheaper to make.
Now imagine it being bundled with Dualshock 3 and WhiteKnightStory/MGS4/FFXIII.
Actually, why don't they add more colors since the 40GB models are ceramic. It shouldn't be hard to make silver, pink, etc.
Ok, you definitely are not a fan or supporter of Sony at all and I highly doubt you own a PS3. The worst thing is that you pretend to be a fan with your nickname.
This is just one of the many extra features you get when you have a PS3. The focus is obviously on games, but when you can watch Blu Ray movies, divx/h264 movies, and do so much more, isn't that better? I can't believe someone is complaining about too much functionality.
Well, for you sir, I suggest go...
If publishers only make $1 per game, isn't that just their return on their investment made to the developers?
It's currently not announced yet, but I believe for a title like this it will be. White Knight Story and Disgaea 3 will all be released internationally at a later date.
I don't know what games you are ranting about but the only ones you will be missing are Halo 3, Ace Combat 6, Lost Odyssey, and Mass Effect. In return you get White Knight Story, Haze, GT5 (Prologue), and those other games you listed (I don't understand why you dislike them).
I've already bought Guitar Hero III, Rock Band, and a bunch of PSN games (like Everyday Shooter). This winter I'll probably get Assassin's Creed and some exclusive title which I haven't decided yet (it's n...
Well, Microsoft's dominance/monopoly in software worldwide gives it a strategic position to be very liberal with its investments (take MSNBC for example). While Sony's electronics have a lot of competition from both foreign and domestic brands, who competes with MS's Windows except Apple's OSX and GNU's Linux?
Every development team wants to be well funded. In fact, it would be better for them that the publisher takes up the financial risk for the games, and MS is in such a pos...
Internally you can fit any SATA 2.5" HDD in there.
Externally you can run any external USB HDD as long as it is formatted in FAT32.

I'm sorry you feel that way but I thought it had some really good deals for those who want to buy some movies for cheap. Please ignore it if you do not own a Blu Ray playing player.
I did tag this with PS3 only so it wasn't spamming anyone except PS3 owners.
They should fix this problem as soon as possible and publicize it as I believe it is preventing a lot of fans from wanting to purchase the game for their system.
I don't get why it would get delayed later when all thats different is the localization for Japan.
PS3 owners should feel free to import their games as they are always region free.
360 owners should check regional compatibility guide to make sure, but Ubisoft to my knowledge has not region locked any in America yet.

They must have been moving people in development from R&C to Resistance as soon as the engine was being finalized and all that were left were glitches and tweaks. These people really know how to tune out quality games at a good steady rate. The amazing thing is that Insomniac is suppose to be the best developer to work for as they have weekly lan parties on Fridays, good benefits, and a very casual atmosphere.
I'm definitely picking two of these up as soon as they appear on Amazon.
What is the world coming to when people steal, rob, and make heists on games and gaming consoles? I hope each one of them gets testicular cancer, so they can understand what the poor kid is going through.
This is a really misleading title.
Why in the world would studios care about attachment rate, which can only improve for the Blu Ray camp as more PS3 owners realize that they can play Blu Ray on their PS3s. The sales figures for the movies don't lie and they still point to Blu Ray leading.
The report of 36k came from a single major retailer (this came from another article I read on n4g today), so the actual numbers could be higher.
The Falcon 360 is still not fixed, go dig up that kotaku article on the new RRoD. I believe the failure rate has been reduced, but hardly fixed for the new series of 360s.
I'm angry at them for not making the PS3 version on par with the 360. Infinity Ward was able to do it well so I don't get why Ubisoft Montreal wasn't. Well hats off to them for helping make my decision toward this holiday's games to purchase a bit easier.
