Damn it, I already have a PS3 or else I would jump on this deal.
I had no idea since my Amazon preorder still hasn't been shipped yet.
Firefox makes the upgrade very easy, or you can only install the web player without divx by using the installer from below:

Oh jeez, you and lawman should get a life outside hating the PS3. Did a PS3 slay some distant relative of yours? Did one steal an old flame? Have you been dumped by a PS3? I don't know why you two are so obsessed with the ranting on the PS3 (same about some PS3 owners on the 360). If PS3 was a person, this definitely grounds for a restraining order.
Almost didn't recognize lawman until I noticed his comments. Must you rant on just about every PS3 tagged article, you are a sad, sad little/big man/woman.
And how in the world did you get a hold of this game which doesn't come out until Nov 19th?
This is what separates quality developers from the rest who just whines. These guys were able to create a brand new engine from scratch, switch from LISP to C++ to help other PS3 developers later on, and create an amazing solid title that is unlike anything they made before.
As a computer engineer, I would really love to read some white papers detailing some of the techniques they use.
Third party support has been exactly what Sony has been missing. Sony needs to help third party studios that are trying hard like Ubisoft and Infinity Ward (versus EA and Valve) to show that Sony is not just about its massive internal studios.
If they help support 3rd party developers with new engines and techniques from their best 1st party studios, they can help them cut down on development cost, produce games faster and better, and get an edge without having to pay for exclu...
You need to stop stating rumours as if they were facts. Rumor of Tekken 6 came out only because Virtua Fighter 5 came to the 360. Rumor of MGS4 has been shot down again and again by the developer Kojima. And as for Haze, the last news I've read regarding its exclusivity is that 360 and PC development have been dropped and there are no plans to bring them back in the forseeable future:

The fact remained that most Sony fans in Japan already has a PS2 which still has top releases there (in terms of home consoles, not portable consoles) than any of the next gen consoles.
Most of the solid PS3 titles has been from Europe and the U.S., so they don't have as much appeal as JRPGs (my favorite genre), but it will change soon thanks to Nippon Ichi's Disgaea 3 and Level 5's White Knight Story. Then followed up by MGS4 and FF, it will be pretty good.

What I remember are negative comments from people bashing the feature or simply saying its following in the footsteps of the 360.
And what are you doing? Why are 360 fans so bored that they shift through PS3 tagged news just to bash on them? There's something called constructive criticism and there's just being annoying.
So it just managed to catch up to Blu Ray. In the meantime, Blu Ray has been focusing on 100GB quad-layer that is compatible players as well as cheap organic died Blu Ray recordable discs.
@Below - Where did you read that? From what I've read they simply allow for mass, low cost production of Blu Ray recordables. I've only read that current Blu Ray writers can't write to these unless they have a special firmware update.
I don't think he explicitly meant 14 days. I expect the sales to have risen a week after they announced the price cut since word didn't really come out until the following week's circulations.
I see the 80GB as the most attractive offer Sony has now with a bundled game and everything, so I don't think 60GB running out of stock is going to impact anything. If you take a quick look at Amazon bestsellers for console hardware, you see both 80GB and 40GB leading 360 consoles, who are followed closely by PS2 consoles.
Even as a PS3 fan, I don't buy much into Sony executive interviews unless they reveal a new game or feature. MS must really be working people over with their version of the old propaganda machine.
You should try doing this with his interview: copy and paste any answer he gave to any of the question he was asked. They are all pretty much the same answer again and again. If I was the interviewer, I would be suspicious whether the guy's response was pre recorded.
They should have added the feature to run our own local server like Warhawk did.
I don't think its a good review when they still say the price is $600 and the article just came out two days ago.
