Or the words of a pissed off fan, it happens every now and then.
Sounds like you experienced the problem first hand, so I've got no room to say otherwise.
This came out a week after divx partnership was announced for the PS3, it was obvious a quick fix by Sony for the problems encountered. I suppose the people who are upset don't mind the stability issues and would rather have Sony wait for Divx to be added.
I agree with you, what's the problem here? Only hypocrites will point this out as being shameful when they themselves watch the same exact flick. If it offends you in some way, just ignore it like a normal person instead trying to seem righteous.
This and the portal gun should be ranked #1 and #2 respectively.
Yes, because you obviously think that MS would have repaired a dusty 360 without question since its not the dust's fault that its not working anymore.
Is it the design fault that caused so much dust? I don't think so since my PS3 is on all the time indoors in New England, so I would say the owner is at fault due to negligence. If Sony had repaired this then every single person who did something bad to their PS3 can jsut later cover it with dust and blame it on that.

Blu Ray movies are region locked (though I'm not sure whether U.S. and Japan are in the same region as there are only three) so I much rather not have to import from Yes-Asia with a hiked up price if they can just release it for the U.S. by the holidays.
Blu Ray unofficially supports porn. I really like someone to do a stats on whether people buying porn would rather have digital distribution, DVDs, or hi def DVDs.
I have been reading about the recently released new ATI gpus that seem like a really good midrange card that gives the 8800GT a good run for the money.
The problem with damage is with the car manufacturers who use games like these as advertisement. I mean which car maker wants potential customers to see what their car would look like as a wreck.
Hmm, a nice theory, but here's my take on it.
After the 360 came out, MS abandoned the Xbox, so all gamers would now need to buy a 360 for any MS games. In the meanwhile, they are essentially battling the PS2 and Gamecube with a next gen system meaning they had a monopoly.
Now we look at this year, when 360 is on its second year with more support and a bigger game library and the Wii with its insane popularity, yet the PS3 still manages to have the same amount ...
Sony is doing everything they could to help development across the board. This one of the main reasons why Naughty Dog did their game in C++ versus LISP like they always have. They want to be able to share their technology to first parties and select third parties.
Sony is fulfilling their promise that TGS that price cut won't be their only strategy, and I hope it all pays off in 2008.
It's the week ending in 18th, so it was last week right?
Haze will probably be the second FPS for my PS3 after Resistance. I like the co-op mode, difference between sides, and the actual existence of the story.
Though I doubt it, it makes me happy whenever I hear of it.
The PS3's problem is the PS2's success. I've only bought R&C and Uncharted so far because I've been buying a lot of PS2 games like Tekken, Soul Calibur, FF, and so many more.
I really wish these articles would stop being flame baits by attaching negative words like "struggling" to the PS3. That's like some anti-MS post that refers to 360 as "refurbs".
What really amazes me is how fast these flame baits attract 360 and anti-Sony (which are ...
I would stay its more of an issue with quality testing.
My hopes are on Sony but I don't doubt that Wii will be able to sell out its limited hardware inventory. Hopefully, by the time their production capabilities go up, the PS3's game library would have gone up as well.
I just wished they upgraded the graphics more so I would have a reason to upgrade from Dynasty Warrior 4.
I disagree with what you said on two points:
1) We are talking about what attributed for the PS3 matching the 360's sale, but the 40GB was not introduced until the end of its first year, not even a month for some territories.
2) Also, the lack of BC did not abandon the PS2 as it instead makes people who don't have one either buy a PS2 or a 80GB PS3. Abandoning the PS2 would be ceasing manufacturing on it (instead Sony has just released a new hardware slim revision that r...
