But I would have thought Team ICO deserved a bigger teaser than a spot on the same page as a 50 Cent game. My guess is Team ICO's next game will be teased at GDC, and this is for something else.
Just because Microsoft came up with it first doesn't mean Sony can't use the basic idea and refine it. They serve the same fundamental purpose.
A little off topic, but why do people always announce the games they would like to have on the other system like that? Does anyone really care? I mean would you care if I said I would get a 360 but the only games on it I want are Mass Effect and Lost Odyssey? You would be right to dub me as having sour grapes, so why do you guys keep on doing it?
I don't see why criticizing this article makes anyone a member of the "Sony Defense Force". Just because I find this article redundant doesn't give you the right to stereotype me as a fanboy.
Do you really think that well-known newspapers don't have bias? It's human nature to hold bias. And just how would you describe the Washington post when they wrote an article to counter the original one on CNN/Silicon Insider? Oh right, they must be part of the SDF, too. And you mu...
I suggest you wait for an HD video capture of the game before going on a rant like that. Try putting the video into fullscreen and you'll see the how low the bitrate is.
@NaiNaiNai
Can't I just direct that right back at you regarding Netflix on 360: Didn't you pay $200-500 for a shoddy piece of hardware where a PC would have done a better job?
This is what makes the PS3 so great in that it's building up its own distinct franchises (i.e. Uncharted, Resistance, and hopefully Infamous) while revisiting/wrapping up some old ones (i.e. God of War, Twisted Metal, Ratchet, etc).
It's one of those games you play for awhile, forget about, and then come back to when you have some friends around.
Yeah good list, but I thought it was going to be a different type of naughty...
I'm getting real tired of these four-paragraph speculations from these unheard of websites.
If you are talking about that comment made my Pachter on N'gai's article regarding deferred earning, he specifically said that only EA does that while Ubisoft does not. While Take Two's boost could be due to Bioshock's release on the PS3, deferred earning, or the PS3 simply performing better, you really don't know so please don't make assumptions and try to feed them to the rest of us as facts.
Ok, I've had a PS3 for nearly 2 years. Beforehand I was a PC lad through and through. But with the piracy and issues of the PC, and the gorgeous games being released for the PS3 (not to mention some of my close friends getting one) I switched to Sony. For me the Playstation platform has ...
Yeah, that's my own feature request for trophies. Aside from that, they add a lot of replay values to my games.
Oh right RSVP my PSN ID: ruibing.
So I guess silver members are being subsidized by gold members? I almost didn't notice that the article mentioned the pricing different between the two services until the very last paragraph in parenthesis.
Here's to hoping. This is Tri-Ace right? The people behind the last Star Ocean.
Awesome initiative, this is what Home is all about. I hope you'll still have some spots open by the time I get back home to my PS3 on the 22nd.
I was a big fan of NFS Underground and Most Wanted, so this is definitely disappointing. Right now I'm just glad I discovered the Burnout franchise in time.
I first didn't understand how this article, first one with the word "flop", could appear on a CNN money, but it's actually from some lesser known CNN affiliate. Not only is it biased, the very last sentence of "Tell yourself the PS3 has superior graphics if it makes you feel better" confirms that this is intended to generate web traffic from PS3 owners.
Do you need to play the first one before you play the rest?
