Creating impulse purchasing through sponsees reviews and creating a false demand through contracted sponsored content creators and streams backs up what you say…
The “success” has already been bought way before the actual reality sets in.
“Do not sell what the people want, make the people buy what you are selling”
Bill Gates
The topic is called “push impulse purchases” by continue to fluff the reality.
Not knocking those that love chore/loading screen games… but there is literally nothing to this game besides listening to lore, doing chores for monetary earnings, and crafting things.
Xbox fans made fun of death stranding… but that game evolved in two hours more than the entirety of starfield.
You are confusing comments on n4g for articles…
We have seen the articles for the price hikes or how else how do we know about them?
There were no outrage articles for Microsoft’s price hikes, just comment wars in said articles linked here
Well, if Microsoft bought them, you would see half the game that was released so they could spend millions in advertising telling you it is great.
Media or content creators.
By that logic, NO pc is next gen because they never get must have AAA games built specifically to take advantage of the most current components.
They are basically Xboxes and the benefits are resolution, frames per second and hdr/ray tracing… for a minimum of $2,500 per the entry fee to do the above with any value.
The gameplay was very shallow and when one says repetitive, it is by the very definition for some fights. As in, completely identical but different setting.
The game has amazing potential.
The graphics, the lore, characters…
This could most definitely have been all corrected with a sequel and became a franchise hit…
Still would love to see an attempt.
Ie fantastic premise and moments that shine…
But it had its downfalls...
@olMyerslo
N4g hurts Sony far more than helps.
Microsoft gets so much hate from the comment sections because look at the decades of bridge burning they have done since entering gaming and having their media partners fluff the crap out of them.
Diablo is popular and when they made bad choices, people spoke out.
It made news because the game is actually good but fans were unhappy, And this was current news.
So ...
Gears is not.
It was the same as mass effect:
Just contracted.
No exclusivity or deals.
Microsofts forced parity with the series s is slowing that version down.
I would suspect Microsoft to revisit the parity aspect. Other developers are parroting the same concerns and Microsoft would be creating a huge negative once this happens to a few other games and delays of their launch dates.
Profit
It took the Nintendo 5 years to hit to 55 billion in revenue
It took Sony 1 year to hit 22 billion
In this same year, Microsoft gaming hit 4 billion.
If you are talking money, Sony has that
In the last year, usb inputs have become a target through ricochet anti-cheat.
So it can be through console now as well although no data has been released so take what I am saying with a pinch of salt.
Also Sony has been working with an anti cheat company for detecting said device inputs.
Fantastic game.
A score so low does not even warrant a view.
Perfect in every aspect? No.
But a solid build, great feeling of progression, enemies that fight against your style, amazing artistic design and sound, and fun. Solo or in co-op.
According to history and avoiding lawsuits, 50% failure rates on hardware?
Microsoft did nothing of the sort.
Microsoft rushed out a known flawed piece of hardware with a well over 50% failure rate, took advantage of the year on the market with Sonys delay and contracted a lot of third party games through activision, ea, and Ubisoft, and then abused their media dollars to divide and conquer the gaming community. Ripping Sony down and having themselves praised.
Ie they created the “appearance” of being a competitor in the gaming arena.
<...
No it is not.
Do not make excuses.
The game is beautiful, bountiful, and runs true.
Small bugs? Yes… but nothing close to game breaking
Some people got lucky…
Not a lot.
Courts do not force extended warranties just for giggles.
They do so because the percentage numbers of faulty products are too high.
When someone does not realize that Microsoft has the most amount of money and partnerships in about 80% of gaming media 🤷🏻♀️
@ghost
I did not state that.
I said that it is the other way around.
A third person action adventure game with character and weapon crafting.
The point of said gaming is escalating enemy and boss fighting.
Improving your character to perform better.
That is the core of the game.
A formula that has been around for most of gaming.
Saying souls like is forgetting the formula that is far older than souls.
By stating...
I think saying “souls like” is narrowing it too much being that games like this have been around since silent hill, tomb raider, etc introduced us to third person games.
I guess I am saying that it has a great classic gameplay feel and is its own game.
And I get the vibe of the og silent hill more than a “souls game”.
I started my run and so far, a really solid upgrade over the first game.
Really has that classic gaming vibe.
NPC’s and en...
I believe we should get a performance ps5 more than a pro.
1440p @ 120fps with monitor support such as Ultrawide displays and for the fps enthusiast or those that want the far superior performance over 4K resolution.
With software cheating being as bad as it is on pc in popular games…
Would be nice to have a console step into its place for pc/monitor setups.
