Well… per fan history.,
Halo infinite was a far bigger disappointment than said game and it was meant to be a gaas game, but it too failed and they pulled anymore support for it.
So 🤷🏻♀️
Going to say spot on.
This game should not be a $50(base)/$60(deluxe) gaas game.
I have read the actual players reviews on steam.. great nit picking but love the gameplay….
However, the asking price screams no to all the players abused by gaas games for the last 6 years.
They release more variants of consoles and controllers than they do new AAA games..
By a huge margin. 4 to 1 at least.
Only on the premium version of gamepass…
The ps5 will have it before the lower tier gamepass owners. 😂😂😂
Nah, usually angry xboxers when it is a game they do not have
Optimization.
Anything going to Xbox has to run on both the s and x.
My guess is the s port is not up to the developers standard.
The game still looks mediocre.
You confuse gamers seeing mediocre for anti-Xbox people…
Yet the majority of Microsoft’s offerings have proven to be mediocre due cheap production costs because of the smaller returns via gamepass.
But, starfield was already in production for PlayStation before the deal.
It would be the easiest port Microsoft has atm and Microsoft is looking to recoup revenue as of late.
1. Compressed, so it does not help.
2. Wukong offers several levels of motion blur… could be on the highest.
(I always turn off motion blur)
3. I do not know, but there is always a possibility of dynamic resolution at play.
If it helps in performance, not an issue.
This game is demanding. It looks absolutely fantastic,
Microsoft never had an “exclusive” identity.
They have to make them to earn that title.
Exact rig…
The test gave me an average of 80fps.
All ultra/max settings except I had ray tracing at medium and motion blur off.
Ultra wide screen.
3440x1440p
So does Sony…
But the time between games is one factor.
The other is the standard the gaming media holds against specific gaming companies and thus creating negative feedback of it is, for some reason, not meeting an imaginary standard.
Microsoft gets A’s just for trying.
Nintendo gets A’s for being Nintendo.
Sony gets ran over with fine toothed combs like the reviewers are expecting a Michelin star restaurant.
Take ratchet and clank…
...
@foxtrot
I am not making it a “thing”.
I am talking about what a dead game actually is.
Sony was not lied to.
That is a conspiracy theory.
It takes zero rocket scientists to see bungies issues they put themselves into.
1 functioning ip creating revenue..
3 AAA games in the oven since 2018.
A new massive studio.
Nearly 2k employees.
Their own music studio.
Etc etc et...
Technically no.
Sony now owns the best fps engine out there.
Regardless of anyone’s opinion..
The best live service formula as well.
I mean.. ten years later and the game still has 100k daily players.
Compare that to halos 2k😂😂
What Sony does with all that is yet to be seen..,
But due to patents, copy-rights etc..
Sony has some amazing tools now at their disposal and they just created another s...
They did.
Before the first round of layoffs
@obscure..
Hellblade 2 is exactly like ryse for the Xbox one.
Slow clunky gameplay to show off tech, but not offering much as a game.
Everything you listed cost the game to be more of a tech demo.
Well, that same engine utilizing the same tools will be pushing wukong but be an actually game with fast pace gaming.
Ie not a tech demo… but an actual full blown solid game.
Lets let wukong come out.
You know, a more intensive game with the unreal 5 engine.
Hellblade 2 looks great, but “next gen” would not be used to describe the gameplay.
More last gen gameplay with gorgeous graphics.
It all depends…
Microsoft’s guidance on how to handle gamepass on pc and their love to force crossplay with pc seems like a them issue.
And they own activision, so it is still a them issue.
They have never put a lot of cash in console r&d.
It is and always has been basic computer parts.
Microsoft is not a manufacturing company…
Nor are they game developing company.
They are a marketing company with global monopoly on an os system.
Eventually reality catches up.
Their gamepass had no chance when they go more than a decade not making any new and innovative ips.
This is why they are abs...
How is it slightly behind the 360 when the Xbox one never passed the 360 at all?
By design by Microsoft.
The die hard fans of Microsoft, of which is really the only remaining consumers, could only buy the s.
It was a gamble…
Had every third party developer took a knee to said console, it would have been the anchor Microsoft wanted.
