But the first hour of any game is usually hampered per the learning curve as a player gets their head wrapped around the ins and outs.

They are not trying to rewrite how computing works anymore.

It “crashed” consoles, and you had to do a reboot. Ie unplug it, plug it back in.
THE deciding factor is that Sony’s PlayStation division is a gaming company.
Everything evolves.. gets upgraded, changes made...
But Sony has a vision for how it wants to present games. Their focus is games.
Not how they want you to play games.
