Because the rarity, the number, AND, the rolls makes it beyond lack luster while all you do is contracts and strongholds while dealing with DAILY game crashing.
Even if they took the kids idea of a guranteeed legendary drop each week, you could actually be handed nothing due to duplicates and bad rolls...
The only purpose legendaries have is to make grand master 3 bareable to do.
There is no grand reward for having legendary gear. No advantage for pvp or “worlds fir...
Microsoft failed at their cloud gaming tragically..
But that is not game streaming, neither is gamepass
@gang
Was what you wrote suppose to make sense?
I literally got sea sick trying to make sense of it.
What is Microsoft offering?
Third party games.. same as google.
Xcloud? Umm.. I find it very hard to believe anyone has faith in what Microsoft tries to sell.. I do realize there are a couple low brain cells out there... but not enough to sustain a market lead.
Heck, Microsoft May even offer gamepass on google. Why not?
Sony does not own agent.. that would be rockstar. No?
Anyways, 2 factors... Sony has raised the bar with the games they have released. No other console has offered even close to sonys quality..
So, since no one is releasing any, I get the feeling Sony pulled back on what they had coming and are taking their time to keep up with the quality bar they have set.
Wild did look like an average gen title when shown off.. but I am sure they are pushing that up to the qualit...
You are not only a diehard fan that defends this company like your life depends on it..
But when you look back at Microsoft as a whole... it is clearly written out that they want full control of your software.
The sales pitch is what you and the other shills focus on..
What is the point of cloud computing?
I mean, to a trillion dollar business with a yearly average of 59% pirating?
A. Cloud computing locks in consumers.
B. Controls piratin...
It is like apex legends and fortnite...
Add that to the article from not too long ago that they were thinking about a free 2 play approach...
they most likely put on the sticker price vs redoing the “store”.
A mistake that bit destiny 2 in the a$$ per removing the end game vanity items from d1 to the store.
They are building these games on the exact same premise of marketing 101.
THE biggest factor in marketing is a social space. Add in some “look...
In the big puctite, as in advancing the technology, it will make games more immersive.
Jackfrags did a great video on ray tracing in bf5 showing off the technology and the little perks that can come to players.
Like using a reflection to see around a corner in pvp.
As of now, I think you are right and, as it should be, the technology just adds another quality level for pc enthusiasts.
This will get refined and eventually be added to consoles.
A...
Who is treating the players as hostiles?
If that is the messaging you get from here.. you are taking criticisms too personally.
Yes idiots end up fighting with other idiots. But that is society in general.
Certain fans hate a certain company and their very well known dirty tactics that has ALWAYS had negative effects in anything they get involved in.
@Atom
“Crossplay is not a Microsoft issue”
The cloud based giant that is trying to remove the importance of hardware to control software? That company?
What this articles topic points out... who is controling all of these “crossplay” articles?
Really? So Sony not opening up to Microsoft is monopolizing their brand?
How?
You do realize that, across the globe, Microsoft’s os has been THE largest contributing factor to th...
@tgeundertaker85
If it is not about Microsoft, who is it about?
Sony has offered more cross play titles and for longer than any other console on the market...so why is it they who are getting attacked? It makes no sense.
EVERYONE under the sun knows that the best hardware gives an advantage per gaming.
That’s why many console players do not want to play against pc players.
Everyone knows that unless the game is coded to make up for its la...
Can you tell me exactly what a monopolizing business like Microsoft is actually after with cross-play?
Is it to limit or control hardware?
Is it to open up another avenue of attacking their competitor?
Or is it a push from third party developers so that they can create services/gamepass type approaches to charge monthly fees for?
I mean... what is the reality here in this billion dollar industry?
Or do you really think it is just about letting two ...
There are no emotions that comes from one of their own major branches.
They literally own media outlets or are “financially” connected with a lot of them.
But, they had their crackdown, media contract for anthem, not sure if they have the division 2, they are already doing hype articles for halo.. which is odd since gears of war is due first and it is very silent, and then their emotional controller adverts.. one of which was the super bowl ad.
It is what Microsoft did. They added bc games to fluff.
If the rumors are true, Sony is bringing everything back...
If it’s good for the goose...
Greed is making AAA unsustainable.
There are several billion dollar major developers and they also do everything to squash any other developers from trying to take their money, from licensing, contracts, and media partnerships... it there you will find your issues.
Does anyone truly think this nickel and dime approach with everything happening in games is to produce better products?
Games keep getting shorter or development of single player aspects are straight up c...
Why? Because there is a competing console with every intention of closing anything that can create separations?
To snuff out competitive edges?
Microsoft is not out for the good of gaming. Clearly written out this gen.
@Atom666
I’m not complaint about that..
I’m complaining that on a rent to not own system, how on earth do you sell the service with this gaming practice?
To state clearer, obviously there are those concerned with gaas and micro transactions/loot boxes... but they are on games that you have in your possession and you are adding to that..
But if this is the direction and they are charging for such things, it will never make sense to an intelligent consumer.
You are referring to full access to a product you are “renting” to games that ask for additional money to play everything it offers.
Rent to access, but buy micro transactions and/or pay for the dlc additionally.
It is the way these companies are offering their content.
To compare under these circumstances, it would be like renting a movie and a player has access to the menu and to the first half hour of the movie.. then said movie is separated into 4 chapters and r...
Does anyone else think that eurogamer sounds like a mom praising a child’s finger painting when they talk about Microsoft’s and Nintendo’s exclusives but act like the worlds most prestigious critics when it comes to a Sony exclusive?
Like “good job lil one” vs “the atmosphere does not match the mood and one can clearly see some bad choices with camera directing” blah blah blah...
😂
What does this even mean?
Is the article basically saying the switch is getting more third party and second party indies and Microsoft is getting praised for it?
It is Microsoft studious making more games for the switch?
I’m just trying to understand what games are exactly Microsoft games when their own console is lacking this very said area?
