Yeah the game was basically done with by the time THQ sold them off. Before it had a March release date when they still under THQ, now its May.
4A even said the extra couple months will give them time to polish it up and that's all they doing at this point.
The mechs are bigger because the tech is older. This takes place before the first two games so they wanted to show that the game has a timeline. The new big mechs are called Rigs and were meant for mining. VS mechs haven't been created yet at this point.
I really wish Capcom outsourced this to a different dev though. Spark Unlimited don't have the best track record and I can see this game bomb.
Even though they are using Linux you can install any OS you want on it, it isn't locked out. I'm a hardcore PC gamer guy but I don't plan on getting one since I don't really need it.
Its going to attract those that don't want to put a lot money into a PC build and instead have a plug and play unit that's ready go. Once people see how much cheaper PC titles go for that will help as well.
Also Valve has made a crap load of money already from Stea...
Alien: CM is not buggy. It would have been nice to see some extra polish put into the game but it plays perfectly fine. War Z lied about a bunch of features that aren't in the game yet and that's the main reason why it got pulled.
Also the metric score is back up on Steams store page.
Just so you know that scene from the E3 demo is completely different after playing the game. It just shows how much time they spent changing up the game and never seemed like they had anything solid work off of.
I'm enjoying it and don't think it as bad as what the reviews have said but it does feels rushed out.

People should look at E3 2011 demo. This was great looking game at one point and now you can tell a lot was cut back from the delays and long dev cycle. This didn't come straight from the core Borderlands team either. They out sourced this early last year to Timegate Studios to help finish it.
Another dev is working on the Wii U port which still doesn...
You can't trade in PC games so it shouldn't be any different with digital versions. It would also be difficult to put a price on them because of how cheap they go for during sales. Sleeping Dogs was on sale for $10 last week, its standard price is $40.
Its rare that I ever spend full price on a new release going digital. With sites like Greenman Gaming they run deals all the time that knock off anywhere from $10-$20.
Its still under embargo, reviewers have copies of it now. Most EA games usually don't get the embargo lifted until its release day.
I own both on the PC and they play fine. They are straight up ports but there isn't anything wrong when them. No there isn't much to tweak around in the graphic options but when comes to games like this you can force setting though your graphic control panel (if you have a Nvidia card use Nvidia Inspector) to improve the AA and a few other settings.
This what you have to do with Dark Souls on the PC and using the resolution fix. It makes a big difference over the settings they...
If you don't want a locked framerate then you might as well buy the PC version. All games running UE3 on the consoles always get locked at 30fps. Start blaming the aging hardware they have to work it on consoles and not the devs.
That's like saying all image resolutions are gimmicks. Its the next step up from 1080p, there will always be a higher resolution over the next (8k, 12k).
The Hobbit was shown at Imax theaters (that were setup for it) in 4k resolution and that looked awesome. The movie was filmed with Red Epic cameras and those film at 4k and 5k.
@hakis86
Of course it will run normal PC games but it won't be locked down to just Linux and that's why they mention Windows. They are trying to build Linux up so that it can support a majority of the games offered on Steam.
They just started supporting Linux on Steam so its something they still working on and improving. You won't see this Steam box until they finish with the Linux support.
If you already game on a PC and have something bu...
Nvidia has been working on this for the past five years. Streaming devices like this have been released before the Wii U was even out. Airplay from Apple has been out for a couple years now.
Max Payne 3 has crazy high specs with 8-16GB of ram listed for recommended max settings but the game doesn't come to using that. I still hope they port it over like they did with Max Payne 3, they great job with PC version of Max Payne 3.
The first Crysis is locked to DX9 on XP machines because of Vista. DX10 isn't fully supported on XP and that's why they locked it. You can force the settings in XP but there is a big difference between DX9 and DX10.
Does suck for those with older hardware but at least were getting DX11 from the start and don't have to wait.
Expect you don't miss out on any of story, not sure where you getting that. Devs have already said when your playing alone Carver will show up during cutscenes and will appear in other scenes that you wouldn't see him at playing in coop. It gives you slightly different experience but you still get all of the story.
Next-gen games won't have some huge increase in cost, they will be just as expensive are they now. You can already get next-gen versions of games like Far Cry 3 on the PC. Devs have no problem putting in the extra bells and whistles for the PC version and that keeps their engines up to date for next-gen consoles.
The coop isn't forced in this. You can still play alone with no AI partner following you around. People always bring this up about the coop, same with how it a cover system now.
Nothing wrong with adding some changes and this isn't turning some type of CoD clone. Outside of the added coop there is no other multiplayer mode, all the work was put into its single player campaign.
Game prices are far cheaper on the PC compared to consoles. For the sales that Valve runs on Steam, your practically buying games at used prices. Also with sites like Greenmangaming you can get the digital version of a new release for damn near half off.
I don't pull in monster frames but it runs fine on my system running a 7970.
