Really a foolish thing to say. Valve doesn't control the pricing even when games go on sale unless its their own game. When you see games going for 50% and 75% the publisher/dev set that price and not Valve.
Does that mean publishers can't set their own price on Origin when they have in sale? More then half of the games I own on Steam were bought when they went on sale. Everyday I always look on Steam to whats on sale. You can get both Far Cry games on Steam today for...
I agree about the weak showings but there still has been a couple nice looking games. Anyone see Star Wars 1313? That's running on current high end PC specs and not on any current console. That's a possible next-gen title since they aren't talking about the console version yet.
That never happen. Their two main lead key creators left (Fumito Ueda still is helping with the game) but they didn't just start all over after 5yrs of work. Its still being worked on by Team ICO.
For those who don't like the coop idea that preview talks about how its not forced and can still be played as an sp game. It will more open as well with side tasks that you can find.
I still liked Burnout Paradise and Mercenaries 2 was a mess but they have put a stop or crashed a lot of good game series I grew up playing. Pretty much everything from Bullfrog Productions you can add to this list.
Been waiting a while for a new Road Rash too. They were making a new one a few years back but it was canned. You can find a video of it on youtube.
I really doubt it has anything to do with a problem, your only looking at 3 day delay. Games get shipped all the time with day one patches so that's nothing new if there is a problem they discover after its gone gold and ready to ship.
Not sure what's odd about it. The previous Max Payne games launched on the PC first before it was ported to Xbox/PS2. This is one of the reasons why they put a lot support into the PC version (DX11 support). I've been holding out for the PC version as well even though I own a 360/PS3.
It was released 3 three days ago and only grossed 27mill here in the US. That's pretty low for big budget movie and those numbers aren't going to get better. It has 200mill plus budget and all the marketing behind it wasn't cheap either. None of that's profit until it can make back what was spent on the budget.
They have been working on it for the past 2-3yrs. I hope the Sept stays true since Fall/Winter is always packed with a lot of releases.
EA Montreal worked on the Army of Two games. Visceral is still making the Dead Space games. Visceral is an EA studio, it used to be EA Redwood.
I remember getting the first game for free with the MS sidewinder freestyle controller. Fun game but the hated that controller, the dpad was awful.
Funny to see it getting released as motion control game again for how long ago it came out. The freestyle controller has a motion tilt function just like the PS3 controller and it worked pretty well with the game too but most other games didn't.
Yeah I'd like see the Indiana Jones table too but they haven't talked about that. Hook from the movie was another I remember playing a lot.
The confirmed tables I've read coming are Monster Bash, Attack From Mars, Funhouse, Black Knight, TAXI, Dr. Dude, Space Shuttle, Harley-Davidson, Cirqus Voltaire, Creature from the Black Lagoon, Elvira, Party Monsters. More will get added but these are tables we should be getting over the next year.
The content is exactly where the iOS's versions are at so I wouldn't call this unfinished (same price too). They already have dlc tables planned with Bride of Pinbot and Medieval Madness being the first pack for 400 points, that's probably next month.
The devs have said before they have upwards of 50 licensed tables that will be released on a monthly basis. It could take a couple years to get all of those out but we should be seeing a couple new tables each month....
I really liked Black but Bodycount was awful. Its always nice in a shooter to have the guns feel more then a peashooter but when that's where all focus goes you get something like Bodycount.
Black had a bunch of cool design levels that matched the heavy flow of gunplay(the landmine bridge level and all the shit to blow up through out the game). Bodycount levels were boring and repetitive and lacked what made Black fun. I hope this new game he is working has some decent design lev...
The only way it would go multiplatform is if another publisher picked up the rights. It will always be on the 360 as long as MS publishes it.
Its usually because of the hardware or they don't want to put in the time to make it work. Some devs dump down the graphics like in Uncharted 3 coop the character models are lower res.
I don't think they make commission on preorders but I know they get a bonus based on how much they take in and that's why they push preorders and of course to have your business.
Not every GS store is going to have those same employees or be ran the same but everyone just assumes that's how all Gamestops are. My local GS is never pushy like that and never a hassle to go into. Don't have a pro card? Then they ask for your number if you have got something from t...
No you wouldn't see a full blown game like Samaritan but its also a tech demo and not a game. All the tech they display in the Samaritan video is the type of effects you should be seeing.
Just so you know this game is already out for ipads. All they are doing is releasing an update for its graphics that you see in the trailer. Other Ipad 2 games like Infinity Blade 2 still look better then this.
I thought Ubisoft was one best conference out them all as well. They showed off the Wii U much better then Nintendo did since they actually demoed a real game I want play and not some a mini game or more Wii fit crap.
AC3 looks amazing with the new setting and Far Cry 3 is looking good too. Watch Dogs was a nice surprise.
