Watch the interview they say he is dead at the start. They are using the ending where Cole sacrifice himself based on how many people picked that ending.
You don't even need to compare it to a Titan. 780's just came out which are basically a step down from Titans and don't cost as much. Even current 680's/7970's are just as powerful compared to next-gen systems and are not a generation behind.
Of course its the same engine. This is still coming out for current gen systems as well and they have even mention how its still running at 60fps. It will always be the same engine until they ditch current hardware but even then they probably will still keep on using the same engine.
If they were serious they would build up another team to work on nothing but a new engine build. This is what Naughty Dog and other higher profile devs do, they have teams dedicated to working on...
They mention before the conference that it would be mostly be about the console and not so much about games. I'm still waiting on E3 before I start hating. At least they showed the console off even though it does look big and bulky. I really hope the large size is because the psu is built in. I don't want another brick size psu.
It will still play used games but its sounding like there will be a fee behind it. MS hasn't said how they will handle or if there will be even be fee to begin with, but they keep saying that it will be different compared to how you can play used games now which sounds like there will be fee.
Games have to be installed to your HDD in order to play them and this is the reason behind it. You won't need to play off the game disc anymore once its installed.
If they are calling it Far Cry HD it sounds like its the original PC version which never came to consoles. The console version is Far Cry Instincts and its not the same game as the PC version. I really hopes its the PC version, its still a fun game but the graphics have aged pretty bad. It would be nice see an updated version.
Games runs on UE3 so it shouldn't be a problem for modders. You will probably see mostly a bunch of different reskins like how DmC is on the PC.
Sure any games on the PC can run on current console no problem but what are people expecting next-gen console to be like? Games like The Witcher 2 was first build in mind for the PC and later ported to the 360 with it basically running on the lowest settings.
It just seems like people expecting some huge leap when really you won't be seeing that unless you never game on the PC to begin with. Your going get high res textrues, native 1080p, hopefully better framerates, game...
Because its the main issue that they have with the game and why it scored so low, its not one tiny bit either. The start of review is nothing but them talking about the narrative being to forced and they go on up until the 4:40 mark and then the rest of review is pretty much what they liked about it.
Also the stripping scene they mention, again your never forced to watch it and given the option if you really do want to see the girl strip or not.
The game chan...
Well we don't know if will be any different since we still don't know what it will be like. Naughty Dog said it will have multiplayer but they still haven't show it off yet and the only thing they have mention is that it won't be a coop muliplayer campaign.
This was a year ago too when they first said it would have multiplayer. The game is month away and we still don't got anything yet so it would seem like they trying for something different.
If you haven't played Uncharted or really any of NG past games then you most likely won't be to excited for this. I also wouldn't call this your run of the mill survival horror since we don't get to much those today which a lot seem to want and now were getting one. This is also something from new from them and their first time trying to make a survival horror style game.
No issues for me playing this on 7970. If your using a logitech keyboard open task manger and shutdown Lcore.exe process that is running. Everyone using a logitech keyobard are all having this issue which can take a big hit in the framerate when its running with the game.
Okay I just got done watching the review and their main complaint is how heavy the narrative can be? They even talk about how its well written it is. They didn't seem to have problem with that in Bioshock Infinite and that was rated high looking at their review.
A lot of narrative your never forced to listen to but it just makes it more interesting and this how your can also get a different ending. Its setup exactly like the first game where you can get moral points (when...
Serious who wears plaid underwear? You can see clearly see a its plaid shirt since a lot of them round out in back like that and you can see the collar stick out under his jacket in the other screens.
Since its coming to next-gen consoles I'm sure the texture quality will be improved and higher res. Rage was pretty much a straight up console port and they had it running at 60fps. Even on the PC its filled with the same muddy low res textures.
Work in progress usually means its going to get better and not become worse overtime. The game looked great from the demos but they ended downplaying just about everything we saw in the demos.
Even with the PC version they released a patch to help polish it up some which didn't do much. If you look into config and data files the games coding is a mess. You can find all kinds of old files based from older builds that were being worked on and then scrapped.

You mean this demo that turned out to be totally different that what ended playing in the final version?
The game looked fun from the demos but they ended changing up a lot about it in such short period time as well. You can tell a good portion of the game ended being rushed out to meet deadlines.
That's why this is being called a spiritual successor and not an actual sequel, same with the title being called Shadow of the Eternals. Its not using the trademark name and any other trademarks associated with it would be easy to avoid with a simple name change.
This is the only way they can really do a sequel for this without having to go Nintendo and Dennis doesn't want to keep this as an exclusive Nintendo title. He says at the end of the video that he wants to se...
So not many people PC game here? Its no different on the PC with the current latest games unless your running something very high end.
I run single 7970 and with games like Tomb Raider and Crysis 3 maxed at 1080 I only average out 40-50fps. I could easily drop down some of its visuals or resolution to get 60fps but maxing those games and trying to get a solid 60fps you need something even more high end (7990, 690, or a Titan) or a dual gpu setup.
PC games are cheaper because its all digital now. You can get a new released game on the PC day one going digital for just about half off the price. Boxed versions your always going to be paying the retail price for a new release.
